Default Would you trade TJ and Rasho for Melo?

Think about it...

Denver gets a young point guard(a position they need) with high potential who would probably thrive in their running tempo, and a pretty darn nice expiring (hell, we could throw some draft picks or something in there too). Will there really be much better offers out there, if he's going?

We get to roll out Melo-Bosh Batman and Robin. Yeah he has issues, and I can't say he's my favorite player, but he can still score. And the rest of our players are so incredibly squeaky clean... maybe it'd rub off. When Boston and Detroit get old, wouldn't we be favorites in the East? There's no Portland or New Orleans/Utah ready to dominate for years to come. Hey, if it worked for Boston and LA...

Get er done BC!

(note, I don't think this has any chance of happening, but I'm just throwing things out there. Happy thoughts. )

I know this will never happen, but i'll chime in.

yes. and no. I'm on the fence.

Yes, because it would be a huge improvement in terms of a quality scorer. A real first option.

No because Carmelo Anthony is a cock. I hate him.

ummm, one of the bright young stars in this league who has crunch time experience as the leader of his team for the guy we all want to get rid of an an expiring frankenstein... as much as i hate melo, that would be much, much better than the best deal we could possibly get outside of fantasy land.

of course you make that trade. Melo proved he's capable of being a team guy, by accepting iverson as the team leader. He's a bit of a nut case, so he might cause problems down the road. If that happens, then you trade him for another superstar - until then, you have a monster team that will contend in the east the next day.

I would do this trade cuz although I'm not crazy bout Melo, he has a lot of talent and upside if he just grows up. However, its just a dream as Denver would be teribly undersized with Iverson and Ford together.

No.

Melo is cancer... I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole.

In a fantasy-land, I'd do it, but no way the Nugs do it.

I'd try and hit up the Mavs see if we could get our grubby mitts on Josh Howard.

Meh, we're used to team cancers, so what's another one?

Melo + Bosh +Jose = serious contender next season.

That equals about a #4-5 seed in the east.

No way, those three and add a Reggie Evans and hopefully see growth in players like Moon and Bargnani as well consistent performances from guys like Parker and Delfino and we definitely sit pretty next season. Certainly a team you don't want to fuck with.

Okay. Guaranteed fourth. Isn't Evans still under contract with the Sixers through the 2010-11 season? I wonder what it would take to get him from Philly...

this would be the biggest one sided deal since VC was traded to the nets...
i'd do this in a nano second.... and i hate melo.

that guy would become our star, cb would become our second star and the two would flourish together.
cb's numbers would decline, but melo's would flourish.
we'd be alot better, thats for sure.
