Would you be happy if

The Raptors drafted Earl Clark out of Louisville? His comparisons are bringing up players like Boris Diaw, Danny Granger, Julian Wright, and Marvin Williams. At 6'10 he is a mismatch for the other teams and has a huge upside. I like this kid.

If not Clark, who do you want the Raptors to draft? I think that my next pick would be Demar DeRozan. Marion most likely is leaving this offseason, so we need to do a sign and trade for a SG, then fill the SF void with a draftee.

PG: Jose
SG: From Marion Trade
SF: Drafted Prospect
PF: Chris Bosh
C: Andrea Bargnani

6: Anthony Parker

I was thinking more he's more like Charlie V. Which is fine for the 9th pick. I wouldn't complain if we took him.

And I want to draft Henderson at 9. He's athletic, smart, and good at everything including elite defense, but passed on because he's a junior who projects as a "role player at best". Roy and Granger were also 4th year players (Henderson is 3rd ftr) who were athletic, smart, good at everything, and projected as role players. Not that I expect his ceiling to be those guys, I'd be happy with 12/4/2 with good defense and intangibles, which is starter level... in this draft I'm happy with that. But the 'we should pass on him because he has no upside' thing is a total myth.

It most certainly would be daft of us to select Curry. :reporter:

We're 9, Knicks are 8, they will get Curry, we will have to go with Derozan. I dont know if you've noticed but.. The Players that get time in the beginning, and have the ability to play through mistakes end up being the ones who make the all-star teams.

It would all depend on who that guy from the Marion trade was to me....

Too hard to tell you now.

People are saying Clark will be a SF at the pro level and everything points to that. Durant played amazing this year at SF and he's 6'10". He actually played better there than at PF because its his natural position.

Well David Thorpe has been part of Clark's personal trainee group and in a recent ESPN chat when asked what position he will play, he said "PF PF PF PF". So we'll see
