Question Are words enough to save the Raptors season?

Quote:
Win two games in a row when you are the Toronto Raptors, and all of a sudden people want to know why. One place they all seem to be pointing to is the closed-door meeting the Raptors held in Washington last Friday morning.

Communication was foremost on the meeting’s agenda. Players were not talking enough on the floor, at practice, or in the room after games. Messages were being sent by the coaches, but not getting through — and the losses were piling up. An airing of grievances can be good for the soul, and also for communication, and so it was with the Raptors. Toronto beat Washington on Friday night before blasting Chicago on Saturday to record the club’s first back-to-back road wins in two years. The victories even featured a novel sight: the Raptors playing sound team defence.

“Even if we had lost,” point guard Jose Calderon said, “everything was a little bit different [after the meeting]. Everybody was together. Everybody was helping one another. We needed to talk about some of the mistakes we were making.

This is something the head coach should be frontlining, not BC!

I'm sure the transcripts of the meeting will be revealed in Bosh's 'tell all' book. Right after the chapter revealing which planet he is from..

I wanna see BC bending Triano over and spanking him. That should save'em!

Rookie Head Coach!!!

Colangelo hired him knowing he had no experience - now it's Colangelo's job to train him!

Makes one wish for someone with more experience running the team.
