With the season done, my call is the Raptors trade the pick if they don't move up from 7 or 8.
Very high possibility imo.

Honestly i'd package that pick + one of our players not named Valanciunas for Lowry. I think if we packaged the 7 or 8 pick with Derozan or Davis we'd get a solid return.

I think Doug Smith was mentioning this on PTS. If the raps don't like where they are positioned they will trade it for one of Lowry/Dragic.

So I guess no Nash

As great as Nash would be Lowry long term would be the better move imo. As for Dragic we wouldn't have to trade for him unless Houston gets involved in a S&T.

if we don't fluke into top-3, we have to look at moving it. we need game-changers, or future game-changers, not prospects.

Package the pick and Ed Davis for 3rd-5th pick. Would it be worth it?

i don't see how the 7-8 wouldn't give us the type of player we're looking for. players like lamb, rivers and possibly barnes will be where we're going to be selecting. who would we be moving up for? i don't see much a value difference between 2-8 to be honest. the only difference is securing the player you want, and i don't see that being worth the likes of ed davis.

I think we're more talking about trading out of the draft for established players. Unless we move up to #2 or #3 then there is pretty much no point in moving up imo.

It would if we could get Beal. Ed just doesn't bring enough to the table that can't be filled by Amir.

something tells me that the nets are going to win the draft, wonder if its charles barkely are watching gerald green take a step back fadeaway jumper that missed every time

another dissapointing thing is i really wanted bradley beal

whats going to bring my rage over the edge is when portland gets the guy i waant

I agree, if we somehow get extremely lucky and fall into the 2-3 picks, we'll keep it and I'd be ecstatic to get Beal here.

But realisitcally, if we retain that 7th pick I think we trade it without question. This isn't a year we want young projects, this is a year I think BC will go for proven young talent.
Packaging the pick and Davis for Lowry would be amazing.
