a little late to chime in, but i would love the idea of getting chandler here. he's a good players who plays tough. i like both linas and JJ, but neither are starters, both are utility players. i actually see BC envisioning JJ as his new boris diaw type player since he does share a lot of the same attributes out on the court. having him as an undersized power forward would probably put him in his best place for our teams success.

i hate making pretend rosters, but i like the idea of this

we could send jose and davis there and get lawson and chandler back.

target someone like beal or rivers with the draft

and blamo

jonas/amir
bargs/ jj
chandler/linas
demar/beal or rivers
lawson/bayless or someone else

the most important thing would be that we'd keep our capspace

oh to dream

Yeah thats a big dream because DEN won't be trading Lawson without getting a top flight talent back. They've groomed him to become their longterm starting PG and he's excelled in the role, and they've put veterans off the bench behind him to do so in the last 2 years. It would be awesome if it ever happened though. We need a game changer like Lawson at PG badly.

I would trade DeRozan and Davis for Lawson and Chandler in a heartbeat. And if we get to keep our pick, even better.

They'd never do that. When you get a young, high caliber PG, you don't trade them for unproven young talent.

If we can somehow trade for Mayo while adding Chandler i'd say screw it, keep Jose here for his final year under contract and see what he can do with that group.

Jose
Mayo
Chandler
Bargnani
Valanciunas

Mayo is one player that imo we'd be able to land. I'd prefer him over Derozan.

Maybe Derozan + swap picks and then draft Austin Rivers to backup Mayo

Swap picks if we get what pick and MEM gets what pick? Derozan and Mayo arent too far off from one another right now. I'd obviously prefer Mayo too but not at the expense of swapping picks.

there's no way they trade lawson
I doubt they'd accept Bargnani + jose + derozan for lawson and filler, although that may come close.

Remember, all teams overvalue their own players. So if we see a future all star in lawson, they probably see a hall of fame career for him

i think davis himself could net us a late pick, I would rather keep demar and have 2 picks, if we can sign chandler, draft lamb and kobongo

In that deal we'd have Mayo + 2 picks

Davis= #18 pick (depending on where Memphis ends up)

Derozan= Mayo

We'd be keeping our pick, hense 2 picks. Not going to happen though.

- Davis is Hasheem Thabeet v.2 - talk about a one-dimensional bust.
- Yes, I'm sure DEN with Ty Lawson would want a backup PG taking up 1/6th of the payroll next year.
- Demar is a bust. That 41% shooting percentage and mediocre ppg despite being the first option with Bargnani out for a lot of the season is ever so impressive.

Yes, I'm sure DEN would view this as an absolutely awesome package for one of the best young forwards in the game. Funny how fans of a crap team always feel their team can so easily shaft an actual good team in a trade. If the team's management was indeed so smart and awesome, maybe the team wouldn't be crap to begin with.
