Yeah, apparently they are close friends. When I get the Clippers cast on KTLA, they frequently mention that. On another team, I would see that as a sign that the organization would try extra hard to keep him (so Blake is happy), but Sterling frequently manages to defy logic and good business sense. So who knows where Jordan will be for his next contract?!

6'11"... 265lbs... legit C size and he's athletic too. Avging 7 rebs and almost 2 blk in just 25 min/gm.
true.

i feel like gasol would complement davis better in the front court. i know with this Bargnani fiasco, everyone's stressing defense, defense, defense down-low, but lets not let Bargnani's chucking blind us to the fact that having a guy that can create his own offense down low is still really important.

ed davis isn't at the point where you can give him the ball in the post and ask him to get a bucket for you. i'm not sure if he ever will be, and frankly i don't really care because having a CB4 clone would make me sick. i remember when CB came into the league billed as a defensive stopper, and who knows where the fuck that got lost on his way to being a 20+10 guy here. if davis can hit the 10-16 foot jump shot consistently and stay active on the floor he'll be able to put up 15 a night.

jordan sounds to me like a major offensive liability and i think if ed davis doesn't develop into that go-to guy down low, you're looking at a really deficient front court offensively. you can dump the ball down to gasol, he'll back a man down, shake him, and drop a hook or a jump shot in his eye. he's no slouch on defense either, be it guarding a guy straight up or coming over to block the shot.

To tell you the truth I've been VERY impressed with Davis' moves down low. he's no Hakeem or anythint but there have been more than a few occasions where he's had the ball 1-on-1 in isolation and scored over his man. He might never be as versatile as Bosh was but he could still be decent enough on that end.

And if Griffin and Jordan are friends it's all the more reason for us to go after him. Griffin to the Raps in a couple years!!!!

Wilson Chandler would be a GREAT pick up with our youth movement. I enjoy watching his game

I agree. Davis' moves down low have impressed me and his shots have been going in contested or not. I think his offense will come, most of his points from college came from down low either face up or backing down on his man.

I like JJ's game a lot, but I think people are way too high on him.

As of now he's a good role player and nothing better than that. If he is our starting SF next year, we're in trouble.
