You start a thread for this?

Anyway, i hope he's back. I would love to see a rotation of Bosh/Evans/Pops at PF.

i doubt he will be though. Reggie Evans and Humphries makes him kind of redundant at this point.

I'd be surprised if Humphries is back, no matter what BC says.

Reggie Evans is more of an Oakley-type player without the jumpshot. He relies on positioning, pushing, and boxing out for rebounding because he won't jump of the Gym. He also has the nose for the ball, having the insinct of knowing where the ball is going to land. Also, he's willing to set picks and just grab boards on the offensive end, and not take stupid shots like Humphries.

POPs is more athletic than Reggie Evans. He also brings more energy to the floor. I hope we keep Pops and trade away Humphries. I can see why Jerry Sloan gave up on his first round draft pick. Humphries thinks he can bring college days into the NBA. Until Hump realzies he's just a role player, his turnovers and ill advised shots outweigh what he brings to the floor.

Humphrey's is just playing for the money.... However, Pops is playing for the love of the game and to win a championship. How many WOW moments did Humphrey's had over Pops?

Not with Reggie Evans in town filling that role and making $5M/yr. Pops is out, Rasho might be in though.

If his name was Simon Jones and he didn't do any primal screams after put-back dunks, would anyone have bothered making a thread about a guy who had a couple of good weeks and a couple of very iffy weeks?

I guess my real point is - wouldn't it be great if there was something more substantial to obsess about, if Pops was mostly just an afterthought, if things really started looking up for this franchise to the point where it just doesn't matter all that much who the "fan favorite" is, or what happens to them. I know I'm shooting for the moon, but that's better than seeing the next Moon trying to shoot as far as I can tell. Cute the way I did that huh? You guys don't pay me enough.
