Will Darrick Fill The Last Spot On Our Roster?

Doug brings it up in his blog today. He doesn't think it'll happen, but realizes that he very well could be the insurance we need at the point. I'd like to think we could find someone else to fill that void, but don't be too surprised if it happens. :face4:

I'd much rather see him on the coaching staff than the roster.

He'd contribute basically the exact same things either way.

darrick can darlick my balls

I still remember waiting for the GO train in Union Station after a game in December 2006 and seeing D-mart stroll through Union with some random on his arm - and people yelling at him, telling him that he sucked. Ah, memories.

Snooch 07-11-2008 02:29 PM

Piss on Martin....fuckin ewok

Apollo 07-11-2008 02:35 PM

There is no room on the coaching staff for Darrick and if he's on the bench he better stay in a suit at all times...

Joshz 07-11-2008 02:35 PM

No chance Martin is done, he was horrid last year, he's a coach and that is that

fancylad 07-11-2008 02:36 PM

why all the hate? We owe him for the 3 pt. record.

Anyways, of course he shouldn't be back as a player. I'd rather have Adequa...I mean Benson.

lol, that 3pt record sure is helping the team finish seasons solid and win playoff games.

no, but it will go down in NBA record book folklore history!! Thank you Darrick!

Please, no.

We've got to be able to find a 3rd sting PG for a min salary who's better than him. And younger, too.

Well played sir, well played :haha:

I wouldn't mind him for comic value

I like how the 3 pointer is mentioned on wikipedia as one of his most memorable moments (and scoring 38 in a game ... holy shit!)

Oh damn no way. PLEASE NO!!!

Why doesn't he just retire??

fancylad 07-11-2008 07:39 PM

He specifically told us that he wasn't done. He could be back if we wanted him to.:haha:

Because he wouldn't know what to do with his life. He has been throwing up bricks, sitting on the bench and chewing gum with the best of them his whole life and for that to come to an abrupt stop could be difficult to handle.

In my opinion BC is too smart not to pull this off. I'm not as worried anymore. Besides. 80% of the things that Doug says don't even come true.
