I've always said i've liked Colangelo because he's active and has the ability to trade his mistakes pretty quickly. Well, Bargnani has always been a completely different story and he clearly needs to go. IMO, as much for him and the team needs to move on from this era. I don't know if all the losing the last 4 years has made him just not care, but his comments about not working on his shot (the one thing he's useful for), and his "it's not rebound ball" comment should have sounded alarm bells.

Bargs and Calderon both need to go but Bargnani moreso. So will Colangrlo trade him or go down not swinging?

Both Denver and Washington could use an Al Harrington type PF who can shoot and space off the floor. That's basically Bargs at this point

No, he's serious. He mentioned Okafor before. I, personally, disagree that it's a good trade though, because I'd much rather just play Ed instead of Okafor. Before making an Okafor deal, I'd move Bargnani to the bench and just play him fewer minutes. The games in which his shot is falling, you play him decent minutes with the second unit. The games Bargs shot is not falling, you keep giving Ed 30+ minutes. I mean, think about it, if the Raps had played Ed more tonight, there is a possibility they keep their momentum going and win the game.

No need to make a trade for redundant players or bad contracts. Just get talent we need in a trade. If we can't, then trade for an expiring or move Bargs to the bench.

I agree with your assessment completely, but I just want Bargs gone asap. While he may be better than okafor / chandler, trading him will guarantee him not playing for the raps. For some reason dwayne casey can't get it through his thick skull that Bargs is not a star player a.k.a "a hub".

As long as dwayne is coaching this team he will give Bargs 30+ minutes a game. I like casey as a coach don't get me wrong, but for some reason he does not know how to handle Bargnani properly, Bargs is a cancer to this team and as long as he is playing starters minutes we will never get anywhere.

I think he has the balls to trade Bargnani but won't do it yet because he would be admitting that he fucked up by drafting him #1 overall which is inexcusable to get that pick wrong,but AB wasn't a bad pick. He's just not a fit for this team at the moment and moving forward. I think BC is waiting for AB to put together a two week string of good games so he can get the most in return for him. That's why they're forcing the minutes even when he's struggling,but the losses are killing the morale and a trade must be made before Christmas.

As much as i hate Bargnani right now, other than Aldridge who played the same position as Bosh at the time there wasn't going to be anyone else picked there. Take a good lookt at the top 6 in that draft. It's putrid. Adam Morrisson, Sheldon Williams, POB, Tyrus Thomas....all lottery picks.
