Will Bosh stay or go?

"As the NBA Finals kick game two of the series into gear, fans of teams other than the Lakers and Celtics have both eyes set on one specific date.

Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, and Chris Bosh, three of the most prolific athletes in the NBA today, become unrestricted free-agents on Thursday, July 1st....

CB4 has never been a popular name in the public eye highly due to the fact that he is secluded in Toronto, Canada.

the only thing stopping Bosh from already purchasing a home in his new location is signing his hefty max contract on July 1st.

Whether it’s in Miami or Chicago (or even New York), Chris Bosh will finally get his chance to not only make a bigger name for himself, but actually contend for a championship in the seasons to come.

You really think Bosh is going to stay in Toronto? Please tell me why he would want to do that.

I think he was implying that he doesn't think he will not be in Toronto...

I still think it's at least 60% chance that Bosh stays.
It really get down to whether he wants to be the man.
If he links up with Wade ... he will surely be second fiddle and frankly this probably suits him better at this stage in his carrear.

60%???

It is only 60% if we can get another legit allstar here & that isn't happening so it's more like 0%

He is going to be looking at a pretty big bit of uncertainty as to what happens with the CBA. This might be his last best chance to get the kind of contract available to him right now. From a purely business standpoint, staying with the Raptors after looking into the possibility of going someplace where he can win big and not being able to get that done, would not be so hard to fathom.

Unless BC can somehow perform a miracle and land us a solid wing player I can't see Bosh staying.

Money is great but he really seems to want to win right now.

I agree that is his first option, and why he is hanging with the Lakeshow. But getting himself hooked up with a winning team is not going to be a breeze. If BC can make it look like the Raps are going steadily towards those 50 wins, then he wouldn't have to swallow that hard to accept that.

Let him go and move forward, so we can focus on winning basketball games as a team, rather than making Chris Bosh happy.

And what if winning basketball games as a team is what makes Chris Bosh happy, as it would seem by where he's looking to go?

well said...

lot of Bosh haters like to think he wants to be no.1 in the team, the goto guy the big cheese or w/e but all he wants to be is part of a winning formula! This is why he is considering going to teams like the lakers.

Less than 10% Bosh stays.
I wish him all the success in the world.
He should "NEVER" be booed.
He played well for the Raptors and was a good influence on the club.
Hopefully BC will have learned from past mistakes and rebuild into a solid team.
