Every raps fan wish- for Bargs to realize his potential. Be consistent offensive threat. Will we witness the second coming of Nowitzki this year?

If he realizes his potential he will not be the second coming of Dirk. Personally I'm most happy with how he places so much emphasis on improving defensively.

+1, Bargs already has the tools to be as good as Dirk offensively, but his main focus this offseason should be on the defensive sign.

BTW, I cannot get past your nickname. "tutti in your face"

he has two guys ahead of him in the pecking order to get the basketball, so he won't score like Dirk, regardless of how well he plays offensively. It just isn't going to happen at this point unless he gets traded somewhere else where he's playing with 12 other guys who are going to defer to him for some reason, which won't happen in the NBA, because their isn't a team without 5 guys with far bigger egos than Bargnani.

He has to become a defensive stopper in the post. He's should be bench-pressing and squatting small Italian vehicles in the middle of the autostrada all summer long in preparation for defending Dwight Howard.

no, we'll see something better faster and stronger that will get around 19 a game while Bosh gets 20.

Nowitzki's numbers last season: 26PPG/8.5RPG -48 FG%- 36 3PT%

Shooting percentage wise he's there, but i must say, he's got a ways to go to get 8+ reb and do what Dirk does on a nightly basis especially with Bosh & Turkoglu accounting for 35-38 PPG. I can't see him getting much more then 18PPG/7RPG which i would be thrilled with especially if he can improve on his help D.

Uhm, that's strange, it means 'everybody' in Italian...

BTW, Bargs can be that good, and for his skills and the role he play, he can be more usefull than Bosh.
The only problem is that for reaching is full potential, and be like Dirk, he needs to have the ball in his hands like Dirk.
I mean, he had these really good numbers the last half season even without being a second option on the offence or having some plays designed for him, playing a role never played before, and if he confirms this trend this is not enough for being a co-first option on the offence?
Pearls to porks...

Hell no. Dirk can really rebound the ball but Andrea cannot. I feel Andrea has the potential to become a better defender than Dirk and right now he's not that far behind in that area. Andrea's game is not exactly moving in the same direction as Dirk's right now. Dirk has moved closer to the basket with age.

Don't really care if he matches Nowitzki. If he starts to post up and get a few offensive rebounds he'll easily break 20 ppg which would be great. Not sure if he adds that to his play book this year or not...
