Lakers. Dwight will leave. Nash will retire and Kobe will take next year off. They will tank and Kobe will play with Wiggins in 2014, extending his career for another 3 years

I don't like Randle that much, he's yet another SF/PF tweener

I have this guy as the 3rd prospect with superstar potential in 2014

I also think Jabari should be ahead of Wiggins. Jabari's perimeter skill level is ahead of Wiggins' by a lot... and the difference between them athletically is overrated. Wiggins' highlights of him dunking/his vertical is great and all, but in the footage I've seen his first step/off the dribble explosiveness isn't better than Jabari or Hezonja's. He's a great athlete but not a Wade, Westbrook, etc. type of freak. Jabari Parker is absolutely amazing. I really think he's going to be an iconic talent

Saric just signed a 4 year deal in Europe so if he comes out in the next few drafts, it's probably enough for 1st round but it'll hurt him. Good fit would be a team like Utah that has too many players as is

Trade demar and Bargnani allow Jonas to go to rytas for a year. And then do the impossible win zero games go 0 and 82. If do this stem will some how sell a franchise that is in bad shape promise them the 1st overall pick and where still screwed

As I said in the Harden trade thread:

Pray and hope we fall just short of the playoffs and OKC gets the pick...BC gets fired, new gm says "fuck this", trades away Lowry DD and Bargs for expirings and picks and we tank for Wiggins the messiah

I guarantee you that Andrew Wiggins will not be better than Harrison Barnes.

I guarantee it.

what are the consequences of your guarantee if and when you're proven to be wrong?

I will buy a Wiggins jersey and eat it with a side of french fries. Or maybe a nice soup.

Do you mean how good Barnes is currently or how good you project Barnes to be. Unless you think Barnes will be orgasmic I gotta stick with Wiggins in either case.

Just a feeling. Barnes got the same hype in high school that Wiggins is getting today.

from my point of view i don't remember anywhere near this kind of hype for barnes. i would say austin rivers had more hype than barnes going into last year.

I remember Barnes being compared to Kobe in high school, and how he was supposed to be a lock for the first overall pick.

Just saying. I hope Wiggins proves me wrong.

NBA Comparison:
Michael Jordan

Strengths: Special player. Extremly gifted athlete. Great ball handler. Very advanced shooter and scorer for his age. A showstopper. Can play the 1 or 2. Won the McDonald's High School dunk contest. Super character. As NBA ready as any HS player in his class.

There was also a lot of hype for Lebron and he turned out to be a pretty decent player.

Why the comparison to Barnes? Why not other hyped players?
