![]() Well for one he doesnt have the passing ability of Calderon, and the team looked really stagnant when he was dominating. However with the Raptors system is works better with a passing PG, and if the other teammates struggle, Lowry can take over the game type mentality.

![]() Why is he rushing back to the locker room every other game?
He's not right and he's just trying to provide enough to help the team rather than hurt the team. And I didn't see where he hurt the team so much today. |

![]() His turnovers hurt, but beyond that I agree. The first half he didn't get an assist because once he passed it there was a 2nd, 3rd subsequent pass. The ball was moving. Not just one pass then shoot. He passes it early in the shot clock which allows for ball movement. And I agree, anyone that doesn't think he's hurt is out to lunch. Passive has never been a word used to describe Kyle Lowry. To hear it so much now speaks volumes on his health.

![]() My guess is he rushed back from an injury and it bother him tonight.
He's got a few days off now, give him some time to rest. |

![]() He might still be injured, but I don't think that completely explains is passivity. With the addition of Gay, he's trying to ensure that everyone gets touches and gets their share of shots. A lot of the play calls, as well, call for pick-and-roll situations involving the wing men rather than for Lowry. This was a bit odd today since no matter who is the PG, Amir tends to get some easy hoops in pick-and-rolls. But a lot of credit goes to Miami as well for defending the pick-and-roll extremely well.
As the starters get more acclimated to one another (notably with Gay), I think we'll see Lowry become more aggressive again and become more of a playmaker. When Bargnani returns, there will be more pick-and-pop scenarios, which should help Lowry whether it's in the assists department or creating space in the lane to penetrate. |

![]() We need to find a way to get Calderon/other passing PG this summer. Lowry is terrible at running the offense.
I think we should give Courtney Fortson a shot. The rockets signed him for a 10 day contract then kept him for a year. He seems pretty solid but undersized. Scott Machado seems better for what we need. He's a passing point guard with size (6 ft 1). He's in dleague but there aren't any FA available... He is in the top 3 in assists in NCAA career. Dood is a good passer. BC need to go after this guy. NCAA - Scott Machado Highilights against BYU 2012 Highlights Last edited by RaptorsFan4Life; 02-04-2013 at 01:17 AM. |

![]() Anyone that thinks Lowry is hurt is just out to lunch. The guy is overweight however he still is pretty quick for a guy with a fat ass. Lowry just can't pass the ball in traffic ...he just makes bad decisions. DC almost made a bad decision yesterday himself when he flipped on Lowry after making a bad play. He had Lucas get up from the bench but he changed his mind and had Lucas sit down. DC has to watch himself ,personnally hes not a Lowry type of guy. He 's on a fine line with Lowry and I won't be surprised if he they get into a argument during a game.

He had Lucas get up because there was 2 fouls on Lowry and he thought he got called for a 3rd when the call was on Gray... thats why when he realized it was on Gray he had Lucas sit again... I thought you were a team guy and didnt bash players? Yet every chance you get you Bash on Lowry... even when your boy Calderon is gone... Very UN-Calderon like indeed... thought you took after your role model? |
