Trade up and get Andre Drummond, or if you can't get a top 8 pick, get Terrence Jones

Other.

i realy like him (TJ) last season, and still now. as a sf/pf, i think he is something like JJ, with more shooting abilities.

i think if we end up with a non top 5 pick, we should trade it and put it in a package to get here a young dynamic pg.

but before trading this pick BC need to wait until the lottery. because if we end up with a top 3, that can be a serious talent whom will help us next season with DD, JJ, Amir, ED, AB and JV.

but if i'm BC and draft night you have SAS who propose you again a trade like this :
parker + 1st SAS for cady + 1st toronto : i do it right away.

Lamb was my choice ... But if we had first overall, it's Davis all the way. Our defense would be set for a decade run at becoming a championship team. With Val, Bargs, and Davis, we would have tremendous flexibility upfront. Ed Davis and Amir become trading options

Since we're failures at tanking, if we drop in the draft, I'd be happy with this pick.

This is the kind of thing B.C. might do. It would likeley be someone younger than Parker, whos on his way up, but Nash turned around his other franchise. Very strong point guard play would change a lot.

Also, you create a little more certainty coming on to your team in that you know what to expect froma guy in the NBA, rather than the riskier draft. the Raptors can't blow this draft. No Joey Grahams, Hoffas or Charlie Villanuevas.

Really, that many people llike Lamb? I just don't see it.
Barnes is just as good of a shooter and is more athletic, while filling a need at the 3 spot.

But Barnes is a top 4 pick. Also, Q.Miller is a good fall back if the raps can't get: Drummond, Davis, Barnes, MKG, Beal or Lamb. It would be great if James Johnson could continue playing the way he has been playing. I think he is similar to Wilson Chandler just Chandler is more offensively polished.

Bargnani can't play, Bayless is hobbled....but the team has not dropped in the standings much.

The biggest reason is obviously Casey's system. (and tired teams due to the schedule)

They'll be healthy at some point, so this team likely can't get worse than their current standing, either we luck out and win the draft, or we should be looking at the 6 to 12 spots for our pick.

Honestly, the defensive system seems to work as long as we have our heads in the game which with a young team tends to come and go. But when you see us defend last night, the rotations were quite good, our help D looked good and we just compete. The system works, we just need better talent so we can score a little more on a consistent basis.

How the hell did the LA Clippers' pick get first overall last draft lmao. They were projected for 13th or something.

I say Casey may break 40 wins next year or 2 with improved talent, even with a not-so-high pick because of cap money, JV and possible trades....

upgraded PG, Bayless or Jose
Demar, FA 2
Barnes/MKG/Robinson, JJ
Bargs, Amir
Jo Vo, FA 5

Goodbye: Magloire, Butler, Forbes, Gray, Alabi

Trade bait: Bayless/Jose, Barbosa, Davis/Amir, Kleiza/JJ

8th overall worst record is where the Clippers were.

I bet Gray is not gone next year... he's actually giving alot of good minutes and would be a very good 4th big. He's young too..... so he's still growing as a player. The rest, yup.

I suppose any combination towards the end of the bench at a good dollar amount would work because I only listed 10 players. They could even nail Alabi's shorts to the 15th spot on the bench. I even think Sonny as one of the depth backup 2/3 is worth it if he thinks he may not even get a deal in the NBA.

Gray seems on the flabby side. If he can work with a trainer, he might get that much better.
