Well now that TJ has returned its just a matter of time before he starts complaining. Therefore I believe that we move him on our terms before he asks for the trade. This will keep alittle more of his reduced value intact. The question here is who do we package him with because TJ alone will not get us much in return ?

Nice night for TJ tonight...guess that stock just went up eh? I'm sure the Raptors will be looking to put themselves in a situation where they will have one PG and ABSOLUTELY NOBODY ELSE TO PLAY BACKUP POINT GUARD. They would have to get a guard in return and then you're looking at some combos...which leads to some salary matching...not going to happen.

If you were going to be dumb and make the trade, Gatorade Graham would definitely be part of the package.

Heis not going to get traded because nobody wants him. Too risky. I said it before, the only way he leaves is he becomes a locker room cancer and I dont think thats going to happend. Anyway who nows, seeing how crazy trading has gone lately, anything can happend.

This thread is a classic example of why basketball fans denounce Raptors fans.

I know TJ doesnt look like the guy that can accept a backup role r whatever he is going to play, but I doubt that knowing his back condition, wich is a risk for any team to rely on, he is going to be so stupid to be complaining for playing time.

Belsius, one of the more intelligent comments I have read on this "issue".

I just want to see the evidence that TJ's a complainer, that he won't accept a lesser role, that he's a cancer, etc, etc...

He has never complained, but he has never being a backup being healthy, so who knows if thats the case and he stays as a backup. I really doubt there will be a problem with him.

Well, obviously it goes without saying that he's going to complain because he isn't a starter, hence the obvious conclusion that he will have to be traded, leading to the urgency of determining who we can package with him to pull the fleece over an unsuspecting team.

I heard TJ once complained about a steak that wasn't cooked properly...then all of the Raptors started doing it on road trips, now they have to eat Chef Boyardee on the team bus. Bloody cancer.

One time TJ didn't pass the salt at a team dinner, and now they put Jose at the head of the table so he can quickly pass out everything quickly, and not once has he dropped the salt yet! True story!

I saw this coming once Jose really stepped up and ive said it in a few threads, its a matter of time b4 TJ gets frustrated with his role and to think he wont is almost an insult to him, he is a competitive guy and feels he should (and he is right) be a starter in this league once he is fully confident in his game and healthy again.

As for who to package him with, well ill leave Bargs out of it this time :P since BC is obv committed to him so i wont go there. You cant throw in Juan or Joey and think your gonna get real value in return, you need to throw in 1 or 2 more quality guys giving us contributions right now, my list is one of these guys because i feel we have too many shooters Delfino or Kapono and im willing to ship Moon because i really dont think his stock is gonna rise that much more then it will be this year, the real problem is in return we need a wide body tough rebounder and a decent backup PG... gonna be hard to swing so i think we are gonna stand pat for the rest of the year unless a really sweet deal pops up.

Alright I dont believe in having 2 elite PGs anymore either.
Just going to throw out a very hypothetical scenario:

Sign Roko Ukic ( a PG Colangelo is extremely high on )

Trade
Ford 8.5 Million
Graham 2.5 Million
Humphries 3 Million
= 14 million

for

A sign and trade
either
Josh Smith
Andrea Igudola
Luol Deng

How did TJ get this rep? Where is all of this TJ is a complainer stuff coming from? When has that EVER happened? If we were talking about let's say, Rafer Alston, well, then different story.

But regarding that salt story Lang, I also heard that one night there was a mix up and while Jose was passing everything out quickly at the table, he mistook the sugar for salt. Team wasn't happy. They blamed it on TJ and then said he shouldn't complain about the sugary dinner he was so fortunate to receive.
