Default Who would you like to see next season....

I've been thinking since last night of who I would love to see on this Raptors team next season. So I've come up with a small list and I'm sure you could add others and feel free to do so. So my list includes:

Paul Millsap
Ronnie Brewer
Emeka Okafor
Luke Walton
Shane Battier
Michael Redd
Corey Maggette (I know dumb but he attacks)
Brandon Bass
Reggie Evans
Ron Artest
Sergio Rodriguez
Sam Dalembert
Thaddeus Young

I know I've thrown alot of names out there but I think any of these players could help us moving forward.

I love battier and Walton, but walton reminds me so much of garbajosa that I dont think we would need him.

I would like Ron artest if he wasnt so fucking crazy and lost control of his game so often.

Anyone with grit and toughness and I'm happy. Less finesse and more grit please.

I love Walton because he's a smart player, good defender and doesn't take bad shots. If Garbo can't come back then I make a play for Walton or Battier.

And this team needs some craziness. Someone who you don't want to fuck with. Evans and Artest would cure that in a second.

Paul Millsap- One of my favorite players but will be impossible to trade for unless we trade Calderon for like him and Brewer or Miles which would make no sense for us. Actually Brewer/Millsap wouldnt be bad but they already have Deron so whats the point? Millsap can easily be a 15+10 if he started, when he has started hes put up multiple double doubles.

Ronnie Brewer- See Millsap

Emeka Okafor- Would be a fantastic addition any way you look at it, but the only way we can get him is if they give up on Felton, which they should cuz he sucks, and we give them Calderon+ for him.

Luke Walton- Solid role guy but I'm not so sure how he'd fit into a different offensive system that didnt involve so much passing as the triangle does. That and his contract is terrible.

Shane Battier- Welcome addition but i'd prefer to get a scoring guard over him since if we got him we wouldnt have pieces to get the scoring guard.

Michael Redd- Would be an excellent and welcome addition who is possible to get. Dont let this year fool you, the other 9 years hes been an excellent unselfish fantastic shooter who you can put the ball in his hands at the end of the game to make a shot. He was the #1 clutch players just 3 years ago and top 5 in the other years.

Corey Maggette (I know dumb but he attacks)- Meh, not that interested especially if hes our 2nd scorer. His defensive awareness will make us cry.

Brandon Bass- A lot like Millsap but not as good of a rebounder. Would be an excellent 7th man for any team but hard to get him after his year with Dallas.

Reggie Evans- Playoff God and someone we've needed for a long time. Give him the MLE!

Ron Artest- Another playoff God that would make us a whole different team. Big risk big reward.

Sergio Rodriguez- Would be a steal if we could get him for cheap. Hes like Calderon was in his rookie year. Once he improves his shot he'd be a terror and having Calderon around him the entire year would be fantastic for him and his game. Hes a special passer.

Sam Dalembert, Thaddeus Young- Would be so nice for TJ and our 1st, one can dream.

The player I most want in the offseason is Granger, I think he'd be the perfect fit for this team. Shoots a high % from the outside, can create off the dribble, gets to the ft line, and plays great defence and rebounds the ball.

1. Thriller is a bit too eager to incluse Calderon in a trade.

2. You're no tgetting anyone frm the 6'ers.

3. Garbo was slow before he got destroyed, he isn't coming back faster. Garbo is finished in the NBA.

I would LOVE Emeka Okafor on this team as our 5. Big body down low, rebounds, blocks shots. Perfect. I would tkae on Felton just to get Okafor.

Reggie Evans is a guy we've all been screaming for..for.. pretty much all year.

As for our swingman, I'd really like Diaw.. and I think we could get him for cheap..perhaps for Rasho?

Diaw costs way too much for what he provides. If he played like he did in his contract year every year then he'd be worth it but he doesnt.
