Jared Sullinger is great. He according to reports dominated Baylor and Perry Jones in a private scrimmage before they year started. He has dominated every game he has played in. Like I said about him before he has the highest BB IQ coming out of the draft(due to coming from a BB family and playing BB since he was a baby). He can rebound. He is a perfect post player and can score down low. Not only that but he has a jumper also just doesn't use it that much cause he rather post up.

The only thing killing him is height. If he was 6-11 instead of 6-8ish he would be the #1 pick.
I don't think his size is huge issue. He is 19 you could make the argument he still could grow another inch. Putting him at pretty close to the avg for PF being 6'10(Griffen,Love, and Ed Davis). Plus he has width, which makes up for his lack of reach. Milsap is 6'8, and he still thrives. In very much the same role that Jared would be stepping in to. Compared to the height of Valanciunas 6'11 who will have zero paint presence (for at least his first 2 seasons) because his stick.

With Bayless more suited to SG, wouldn't a true PG like Walker be the best choice?

Shy kid but great leader on the floor. He proved it in the junior team. He came from nowhere and became the MVP. Lithuania 1992 team never lost a single game and still dominates Europe :
2008, Eurobasket u16. Lithuania rapes everyone, including Czech republic in the final (LTU 75-33 CZH). Valanciunas wins MVP trophy
2010, Eurobasket u18. Same story. Eurobasket final, Lithuania - Russia, LTU wins it 90-61. Valanciunas wins another MVP.
more talk of drafting euro scrubs???

I voted for Barnes wich i like but maybe Toronto need most a PG, with Ed Davis And DeRozan i think that Irving match perfectly... that would be a nice young team with a lot of potential

Like posted above, Walker is not a "true" point guard.

Kyrie is a runaway top choise and I agree.
But I voted for Terrence Jones as a second option. Hes NBA ready, fills a SF position and can contribute to our next (winning!) season right away.
And on a side note we leave the PG spot for Rubio

Wow, thats rude and offensive.

First of all, I voted for Irving. We just talked about Valanciunas, as a interesting prospect, thats all.
Euroleague is strongest international basketball league in the world. There is no bitches or trashes. Different style of the game. And most of Euro prospects are far away from the solid Euroleague player, like the same Valanciunas. Not all the best Europeans playing in the NBA, What is Fesenko, Vujacic, Pavlovic, Udrih... average Euroleague players.
Im, like Euroleague fan, can say, no trashes like Jennings are welcome. The guy was a bump in Euroleague... So?

We wont get Irving if Minnesota or Sacramento are ahead of us in the draft. So hopefully we get lucky in the lottery because in his brief stint at Duke he seemed like the real deal. Still there is still a chance that he wont even enter the draft. As long as we get either P Jones, Barnes, or Irving I am happy

It might just be me, but your making it sound like the euro league is better than the NBA, and thats just funny.

No. I'm saying that some Euro teams are really strong right now. I just replied to the guy, who clearly said the Euro players are scrubs and bitches...

Some Euro stars failed in the NBA, but because the style is completely different, not because Euroleague is so weak. look at the same Macijauskas and Calderon. Macijauskas was superstar, while Calderon only a role player in Spain.

Course, NBA talent is much much higher, but Euroball catching up and it's good for everyone. I believe todays CAVS would be eaten in Euroleague (by the way, they lost preseason game to CSKA at home, and CSKA was one of the worst EL teams this season)

We really need a pg and I think irving is best suited unless we somehow pry away rubio from minnesota lol aside from a pg I'd love to have a true centre and put Bargs at the pf spot. That's my last ditch effort in believing Bargs isn't a bust lol anyway I'm veering irving is my choice

We really need a SF.... I'd rather try and get a guy like nolan smith with a mid first rounder than reach for kyrie. I think the top ten is weak, and our Miami pick is gonna be too late to be impactful.....

I think we can get Kyle Singler with our second (maimi) pick he is projected at 30. which would leave our first pick for a pg or big. I would be interseted to know how the two blue devils get along. His lateral movement is terrible, but I think he could be a younger/cheaper Kleiza (being a combo forward).

I keep investigating these options, and I think Terrence Jones might be the best pick. He could be available at where the Raptors will be picking, although, he is having an unbelievable year for Kentucky, and I have a feeling that he is likely to be a top 3 pick.

He's got great size for a SF, he has a big frame and is 6-8 6-9. He's got a much better all around game than Perry Jones. He's also further along in his development, so he should be a contributor (even a starter) from day one.

He is an excellent defender, rebounder, and shot blocker in college. Also, he's shown talent as a passer and playmaker.

His shot needs a lot of work, and he needs to work on his FT%. But, because he's so athletic and talented in other ways, even with those weaknesses he can still make a positive impact.

The comparisons I've seen compare him to Odom, but considering his frame (and the highlights I've seen) I'd compare him to LeBron. Obviously, he won't be the player that LeBron is, but he has the same type of game.

I say we draft Kyrie Irving if he's there when were our pick is up, if not then I think we pick Perry Jones, on paper Parry looks like he could turn into another Kevin Durant but with a little T-Mac in him as well...

Our Miami Pick I would look into possibly drafting a more experienced player, meaning not a freshman, possibly a Jordan Williams? - we need another rebounder, shot blocker IMO

People need to stop comparing Perry Jones to T Mac and KD. Whether he is a three at all is questionable itself. He doesn't move like a 3 and i don't think he can play the 3 on defense.
