The team right now is filled with a bunch of scrubs, which is why I don't really care much for it right now. If they put in heart every night thats a different story, but they don't. Also having coach triano is ridiculous.

I'm still as big of a fan as I've ever been, just life has gotten a lot busier here.

I mod(ded) another site, and have been a member there since 2002.

Personally, I went back to school, and I coach snowboarding (I live in Calgary), and after I started coaching more and more, I actually went out and got an iphone, so that when I can't watch a game, I at least check in on the scores/stats.

When I'm around, and there's a Raptors game on, those are my plans for the night...Everything else revolves around that.

Ironically, I'm a fan of watching this team in their "development" stages, which happen to almost seem perpetual at this point. But, back in the day, I used to watch every minute of every game - even garbage time in the days when the team had about 25 wins - just to see the development of the future. If life wasn't so busy right now, I would be doing the same.

I always have, and always will bleed Raptors Red (or purple)!

I started watching Raps when Ukic was playing! First I was amazed by the fans, organisation, game coverages...

Ukic left, I remained Raptors fan. I'm surrounded by Lakers, Celtics and Bulls fans here in Croatia! Noone is interested in Raps.

I'm watching almoust every game online. staying awake whole night and watching raps makes me happy! I can't even imagine Raps being excluded from NBA!

Love hearing about fans like Zubinho and Bankiz who are overseas and became big fans. Wear it proud. You are honorary Torontonians.

i can't lie. I haven't watched nearly as many games this season as in season's past. Things started going downhill for me the Jermaine Oneal year. Last year i was just pissed off for the most part thanks to guys like Bosh and Turkoglu. To tell the truth this season has a brighter feel for me because at least it's a transition year which hopefully is a transition to something better. But alas during a season like this one, we're bound to lose more than we win and the games themselves are less meaningful. Hence i don't come close to watching every game.

It's been a slice reading about some of the views of the other members in this thread. Kudos to you guys over in other countries keeping up with the team. respect. and SJ, you've been a real peach this thread!

I dont look at the Raptors as a Toronto team. I see them as a Canadian Team.
Been a fan since the Vince years. LIke what i am seeing this year so far.
Each year Collangelo keeps me interested, whether i am happy or not. He knows what works and what doesnt and is quick to change it.
One move I hate was getting rid of shawn Marion. damn i love his game.

Last night's game really makes a difference to me. That was a team out there. That's what I've been waiting to see, moreso than wins, this season at least. Now I wnat to see whether it represents a seismic shift in the way they approach games. If not, then they really need to let Triano loose, and maybe Colangelo as well. I've seen enough of their "exciting brand of basketball". The game does not need to be re-invented. Last night was exciting, because it was just plain old basketball.

When you can hold a team to less than 80 pts. LIke wow.
I guess the raps have no excuses when it comes to playing Defense now.

it's like getting one really good golf shot off during a shitty round...that's enough to make you want to come back again the next day

i like this squad as a developing team, love watching ed davis, derozan, johnson, dorsey, hairless, weems continue to develope and throw down. We got some good young players that i feel have very good upside(derozan-davis, amir depending on how he fills in) plus we'll always have that big goof 7footer with the feathery touch who will always bring 20pg to the table even if he has no intangibles what so ever and rarely breaks a sweat in 35 minutes of action. Hedo is gone, Bargnani has value, i dont think the future is that bleak even if this season will be

now as for my love the league itself, its at an alltime low. I'm just way too paranoid and high all the time to be following such a blatantly rigged-mob affiliated circus like i use to. too paranoid for sports in general. So fucking sick of anouncers trying to sell me jerseys blantantly tossing the salad of every semi superstar on the floor all game long while the ref's memorize their pregame que cards so they can get instructions on how to call each individual player that game for jersey sales or bets

The entire sports spectrum is dumbing down the nation myself included, i dont know how much longer i can hold on. Raptors is pretty much all i can tolerate now and thats just because i fool myself into thinking derozan is going to throw down one of those monster jams he only seems capable of in the summer. Its right around the corner guys, derozan is going to spike it and put an end to the calderonesque dunks
