19pts 12reb 2.5blk career year. Borderline all star.

Considering how far behind Ed should be in his development we all have reason to be optimistic.

He can really play in the NBA already.

Also, consider that his per 36 averages are currently 10.8pts 10.4reb 1.9blk.

His scoring should see the biggest jump when he's properly integrated into an offense instead of just getting garbage points, especially if he can learn to hit his FTs (I think he will, and he should improve to substantially better than the 65% he made in college, maybe around 75%~80%).

With better conditioning and more experience blks and rebs should also be bumped up a bit.

Borderline All Star

Dude has a feel for the game, and good defensive awareness. I think he could easily average 15 ppg and 10 boards in a few seasons

i think he could easily develop into an all-star

he only fell to us because of his injuries, not lack of skill

i really hope he can develop a decent mid range game tho, he has a good form so im sure all he needs to do is practice to perfect it

he's not far off those numbers when he's started or played starters like minutes this season. if he can work on his shot next summer and add 10-15lbs, he should start next season and those type of numbers are close to what he'll end up with.

18/11/1.5. THe fact he's averaging almost 11 points per 36 without a jump shot and/or any muscle on his frame is pretty incredible.

Let's not forget this guy was projected as a top three draft pick before running into injury. Ed could potentially turn into the biggest draft day steal ever for this team.

This kid is banging with some big PF's and C's out there. And he handles himself pretty good.
If he puts on a little more weight without losing his athleticism. I can see him being as good as Bosh was or better.

lets not get too ahead of ourselves here...
theres no way Davis has enough offensive skills to average 24 ppg.
he will definitely be able to grab 10+ rebs, but i think his scoring numbers will level off at around 15.
that being said, i expect his defensive numbers to be stellar.

Ed Davis @21yrs old (6'10, 220lbs) is outrebounding, out blocking our 7' Center who's taller and bigger and has more experience. SAD!

You think those numbers are not obtainable by Ed this year.

Well he isn't that far off for rebounds, right there with blocks....but he certainly will not end up averaging double digits in ppg imo.

I think if he can end up around 8ppg/7rpg/1.5blks, considering he missed training camp and the first 5 weeks of the season it's impressive.

He's currently averaging 6.5ppg. To think he'll end up with much more then 8ppg averaging is expecting too much.
