Ed Davis led the team in double-doubles last season. He definitly started out shitty so far, but what I dont get is why he is only getting 10-15 minutes a game usually.

butler, Carter and kleiza for batum and portlands 1st
use the portland to draft teague and get a good small forward for our pick
trade barbosa, alibi,JJ and 2nd round for Paul george
teague/jose
DD/george
batum/draft pick
Bargs/davis
JV/amir
or even get a SG for the draft pick and put george down into the SF

at the deadline :
1.
Batum + Felton for 1st 2012 + Jose
or
batum + scrubs for 1st 2013 + kleiza

portland grab a legit lottery pick for this draft, and a nice pg to lead their team.

we add a real sf starter, defender, great 3pt shooter and a blocker.
feltonis an expiring and a solid pg.
we can resign batum for 35M/4years.
maybe felton would want to stay and resign?

2.
bayless for joseph + 2nd round 2012

we can eventually resign barbosa if he accep a lower salaries = 16M/3years. only first garanty.

felton/joseph
DD/barbosa/forbes
Batum/JJ
Bargs/ED/amir
JV/Amir/Magloire

we will be around the cap.
and we will have 2 second round this year.

perso, i don't care about picks, but more about having a team wo can compete.
a pick this year will really produce in 3 yeats. do you think barg, DD or ed will wait until that time to decide if they want stay or go ?

and batum at SF, that lock that position for a long time.
JV comes next season, amir as his backup or reverse, it's a great deal to have all your position full at starter and backup.

i'm not sold on bayless. so we should concentrate after batum on the pg position.
and we still would have capspace to bring here a solid player at pg, even continue with jose. but baylessi don't know.

stock pilling picks would not assure you that the team will be good.
wash do this and they are not the best team yet. miny too.

It depends what you do with your picks.... Look at how up and coming Mini is compared to head case ville Washington. It would be nice to pickup Batum no doubt, but I don't want to be trading away any picks this or next year

trade Jose why? his contract is still not easy to move. Barbosa is done this year so there is no need to trade him. Saying Linas is going to shine is just a guess at this point, Bargs is the only solid reliable player right now. But he is also untouchable.

Celts are strugglin' to score, we could trade Barbo for some C's player? Anyone you like?
But I'll definitely trade Davis + 2nd rounder for Batum. Since Camby is hurt, I think they need a big man!

i give u 100% that linas will snine , And next year Jonas will come to the Raptors and Linas With Jonas is close friends.. And they both are playing in the National Lithuainian Team so they will be a good Offensive and deff players for raptors

With this year's draft expected to be extremely deep and talented, the Raptors should keep its first-round pick unless they're acquiring a mega-star in return, which they won't be. Guys like Felton and Batum are not worth trading the team's 2012 or 2013 first-round pick. They are good players, but they are not franchise players.

The one player the Raptors should deal is Barbosa. He has an expiring contract and likely won't be back next year. However, he has value to a contending team by providing offence off the bench, which, as Jason Terry showed last year, is invaluable.

they both played for the nation team but i don't think they played much together as jonas played in the recent championship while linas was obviously injured and wasn't with the team.
also, linas is a lot older and jonas is still like a teenager, they are from the same country but they are not close friends, jonas will probably rely a lot on linas when he's here and they will probably become pretty close but at this point i think their only connection is their country
listen to the interview from the preseason with linas, he answers questions about jonas as a stranger and not a friend

Anyone on this team should obviously be available for the right price, but I'd try and keep ED/Bargs/Johnson/Derozan if I were to name the core pieces I'd like to stay.

Bargs' value is at an all time high though, so if we can get a really good deal for him I'd really look in to that as I dont think we'll ever go anywhere with him in our starting 5 unless Casey does turn in to a Thibodeau, and Valanaciunius a Bogut type to completely hide Bargs.
You're right Thrills, but I still believe that BC would rather stick his ballsack into a nest of fire ants rather than trade his pride & joy.... esp. considering the way he's playing now. Unless we get D12 back (or a player of his ilk) Bargs isn't going anywhere.

I like Ed too but he could be expendable on this team... esp. with JV coming over next season. He has some value too that should peak another team's interest.

Ed. Bayless. Barbosa. I'd look to move any or all of those 3 if I could.

LOLLLLLL

I don't think Butler, Carter and Kleiza is enough for Batum AND Portland's first, let alone Batum. Do you how bad Butler and Carter are? They can get them for practically nothing or for free in the offseason. And how long Kleiza was out? My God.

I also don't think you know how good George is gunna be. Not a TERRIBLE package, but still not even close to what Indiana wants.
