What will the Raptors do at the Center position?

We currently only have Valanciunas at the C position. Who do we think will be added, will Gray be re-signed (mini mid level?), will we just look for another cheap vet or two, will Magloire be signed on as our 3rd Center?

yep. Gray will likely start unless this dude from the Rumored sixers deal can. JV aint that guy yet...at least he doesn't seem to be

box92 07-05-2012 11:46 PM

aaron the gray

eazy187 07-05-2012 11:48 PM

Is it too late to pick up Kwame Brown? max deal? :cookie:

Windex 07-05-2012 11:49 PM

bring Camby home for a 1 year deal :dancing:

LOG 07-05-2012 11:50 PM

I dont mind starting Gray next season especially if he can get into a better shape over the summer.

Dario 07-05-2012 11:56 PM

It would be nice if we could pickup camby for a year, maybe 2. But most likely gray is gonna be our C. Hopefully he loses some weight and gets a bit more stronger.

Blaze 07-05-2012 11:58 PM

I say we pick up a solid vet centre for cheap like Pryzabila until Val is ready to take the mantle. Pryzabila would be good off the bench too.

TORaptor4Ever 07-05-2012 11:58 PM

I was impressed with what I saw from Stiemsma off the bench for the Celtics... smart kid and a good rim protector.

Camby would be nice too.

McGee would be a dream under a coach like Casey who could probably raise his bball IQ several notches.... but I'm pretty sure he's going to get some serious dough from someone (if not DEN).

nothing's wrong with having amir start at C and have JV come off the bench
besides, our bigs are pretty interchangeable between PF and C
i wouldn't mind przybilla or hawes

Pryzbilla is injury prone so not a good fit here

oh you all aint paying attention to a thing.....

You got guy like Ross, Fields and Lowry now...Fields is a deadly slasher, Ross and Lowry love the high pick...Gray is your man, how quickly you forget what a gray pick looks like.

Its a temporary move boys. but guys like Ross are in heaven with picks like that.

That's a big "if"

poetics 07-06-2012 12:16 AM

what about Acy - is he a C or more of a PF?

Superjudge 07-06-2012 12:16 AM

I'd look to either re-sign Gray to a 1 year deal, or sign Haddadi to a 1 year deal.

Haddadi can play. He's quicker than he looks too. He just didnt get to play much behind Gasol, but when he did he made an impact.

Superjudge 07-06-2012 12:19 AM

It's gotta be Gray thrills, he was a good stiff for them, and it's only a placeholder.
