Default What will happen with the Raps win a championship?

It's always good to think about the future on a positive note. And seeing how the Raptors have been playing lately, it convinces me to start thinking about playoffs and even a championship (in a few years). The interesting question here is : IF the Raptors win a championship, then will they continue the tradition of visiting the White House and present their jersey to the President or/and visit the Prime Minister of Canada?

What do you guys think?

I think it'd only be fair that they get to visit both the president and the Prime Minister since most of the players are American. It'd suck for them if they only met the Prime Minister since they probably don't care about Canadian politics, I don't think anyone really does. Other than Rob Ford he made Canadian politics pretty interest

On second thought, instead of meeting the Prime Minister it'd be more gangster to meet Rob Ford. I'm sure the players would be honoured hahaaaa

If the Raptors ever won a championship it would put ENORMOUS pressure on the Leafs lol.... even more so than usual.

Would be interesting to see how much more media coverage they'd get though.

The Raptors will never win a championship.

By then we'll be the Toronto OVOwls and sign Durant, get Wiggins to force his way out of what ever team he's on. Drake will be the 2016 NBA Finals MVP after we sign him to a 10-day before game 7, and he proceeds to grow to 6'6", drops 70/20/20 and nails a game winner.

If you guys won the world championship of basketball, you might get a game or 2 broadcast on national television the following season.

Blue Jays went to the white house.

Ur on crack.

The best most money making franchise is the one that finishes 2nd every year and never wins, if youre MLSE.

Ha. Ain't that the truth.

We'll know we've made it when the Raps are playing on Christmas Day.

Hmmm... would make sense. I think that we had a few nationally televised games back then. I think the first one was us against the Suns when VC went off for 51.

Let's get back there again!

no they weren't.

I can remember it clearly both the sun and the star had the Raptors win as the cover story. In fact i remember the photo on one of the papers was JYD celebrating with a new york knicks towel.

I am a Raptors fan since the start of this franchise, I love this team and even when they are among the worst teams in the league, I still love them and wish better performance for the Raps, but WRITE THIS DOWN : WE WILL NEVER WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP. Sometimes, the officals do not allow you to defeat teams like Lakers or Heat, do you think they will allow us to win a title ?
Guys, wake up.
Remember the title that Suns lost because of the officals ?

Would definitely be a huge moment for Toronto sports and the city. I think though because Toronto is a hockey city, the Raps wouldn't get the same respect in winning a championship as the Leafs. Hell, even when we win a game the first thing shown on Sportsnet or Sportscenter is Leafs hockey highlights regardless if they lose or not.
