Bosh was clearly extremely frustrated towards the end of last night's game. I think tonight is a chance for him to show what he's made of and prove that he's ready to be one of the best in the league by responding with a huge game and pulling his team up with him.

Thoughts?

I agree and that's what I'm saying.

He's talked about being the best and this is the sort of situation where the best step up and lead their team.

I'm not putting too much importance on it, but I'm interested to see how he responds.

I do indeed Hope that he performes well and "puts team on his back" but I really cant see it happening.

Millsap is a very solid defender and will push and lean on Bosh to the point of him settling for outside jumpers.

Defensively Bosh will really have his hands full(at least if he is the one guarding Millsap/Boozer-good chance that is Bargs and Bosh gets Okur)

I think Bosh will rebound only if the team can find a way to give Bosh touches deeper in the post. This only can be orchestrated by both parties. Raptors spacing was brutal vs. Denver (besides of course the horrible D) now its time to change that.

don't forget demar derozan, he looks like he's becoming more comfortable with his offense and his defense is better then JJ.. i just dont know why they decide to play him at 2 so often. it does provide better ball handling but we just get smashed on D.

I agree with all points. I like how Demar has started the year. He's not blowing up the stat sheet but he's not trying to do too much either. He's playing within himself and isn't making many mistakes. He doesn't need to score right now. If he can help out on the defensive end, get some steals/boards, hit his jumpers when Bosh or Turk get doubled, and slash to the hoop when he gets the lane then he's doing his job in my opinion.

I also agree that playing JJ at the 2 is just not working.

Didn't Amare call Bosh out over the summer?
He certainly didn't respond to that.

it's not about what Bosh should do tonight. it's about what the whole team should do tonight.

If Bosh has to deal with Milsap, i can see the frustration that started last night ballooning even bigger tonight.
Milsap is a beast and will body Bosh on the defensive end of the court all night. Im hoping Boozer gets a lot of minutes because while he can score, his defense is horrible, and Bosh should be able to capitalize on his laziness.

for me, the key matchup will be jose and deron... we all know how jose comes out vs the top pg's (he's done a fine job offensively this year vs nash and cp), and i see that trend continuing tonight... i can see jose firing for 20/10 tonight.

Can also see someone else guarding and pressuring Deron throughout the game leaving Jose to guard the sg spot(Utahs weakest position)

TBH I'm not worried about Bosh's performance. He'll play his game. I just hope that the REST of the team (particularly Bargs) plays well. Because it's going to be tough to win if they don't... no matter WHAT Bosh does.

I predict a big game from Bargnani.
