It feels so good to be truly optimistic about this team, but it all depends on Lowry staying here and in "all-star" form.

Tipping off in Toronto shortly

Quote:
Whoop, nice and early one - tipoff at 5pm here, stoked.

Goes without saying, MUST win.

Suns 109
Raps 103

Bledsoe/Dragic too much for Lowry

This would be a hell of a win if we can gut it out

get ready to complain about the refs. As if y'all didn't need enough reasons (or any whatsoever), DeMar DeRozan attempts the 7th most free throws per game in the NBA. Compunding that, both teams are foul prone: the Toronto Raptors are 2nd in the NBA with 22.9 per game and the Suns 8th with 22.0. There will be fouls. Lots of them.

Toronto is playing to maintain home court advantage in the first and/or second round of the playoffs. Phoenix is playing for their playoff lives. The question of who wants it more shouldn't be a question at all.

Canada is not even a real country anyway

the Raptors are still without Patterson, pitcher’s elbow or something like that. He has arguably been their best Big since the Gay trade. I think his absences today will signficantly help the Sun. Patterson is a lot more effective in an up tempo game than the other Raptors Bigs.

Well, so far, this Suns fan has been terribly wrong. Suns fans should be thrilled with the reffing.

We burned down the White House 200 years ago - if they don't start showing some respect we may have to go down there and do it again.

he's right - even though our surface area (and therefore volume - not sure how far underground a country extends, but should be the same for all countries) is larger, the USA has higher (population) density, therefore their mass is larger

I don't think you all understood me. By land mass I meant excluding lakes, rivers, bay (cough, Hudson bay, cough), etc

Here's something that shoes you that.

nice, didn't know that. I don't think hudson bay counts in the total area though, must be all those interior lakes.

on the bright side, we have a lot more fresh water than the americans, one day they'll come begging and we'll point to all these threads
