I agree with you but Sacramento fans would boo him too, let's be real

It's really surprising because all the fans I saw on message boards really like him

with a little creativity, there could have been 9 Raptors or ex-raptors on the floor too ...

Regarding the last comment - remember that most of the "fans" there are much different from us on here. Many fans who attend are uber-casual to casual or are only there cuz of a discount or ticket from work or something along the lines of that.

Minneapolis tonight

No one's really sure what Raptors looked like. Sure we know what their skeletons look like, but look at any modern day animals skeleton and it does not reveal all the physical characteristics of said animal. Beyond that, Raptors were way shorter than they were depicted in Jurassic Park. They may have even had feathers. There's a lot of ambiguity with raptors.

Everyone knows what a wolf looks like. We can all agree on that.

so lets go Wolves.

Wow, the wolves fans have some pretty spot on and unbiased things to say

I only disagree with Crunch being a better mascot than the Raptor and really why does their mascot have to have a separate name than just being the Wolf.
Also with the one where they should be us cuz we're from the East

I'm a fan of Rubio but I must say that for all the expectations he's had since coming in as the new star PG from Spain he really hasn't made himself look any better than like Jose Calderon. In fact its debatable whether all that extra passing flare and occasional steals is better than having a steady playmaker than can make a jump shot when it counts or really any part of a game

Rubio has plenty of time left to make things work in the NBA.

Rubio has disappointing thus far. He showed a lot of promise in the 08 Olympics as a 17 year old (with an injured wrist) playing against the best players on Earth. He turns 24 in October so he still has time but he really needs to improve and especially improve/change the mechanics of his shot.

They gave a pretty wild stat during the game last night. Something like, when Rubio is on the floor the Wolves are 3rd in the league in offensive efficiency and when he's not on the floor they are 29th. Might not have been offensive efficiency but it was an offensive stat.

their offense is an issue. theyre the best defensive team in the west. defense isnt the problem for the warriors... but of course under d'antoni that would become a huge issue.

I'd love to somehow get Lowry on this team but there is no way we'll be able to ditch Jennings and Smoove in the same offseason and moving Smoove has to be a priority.

Lowry or even Bledsoe are pipe dreams but a good dream to have.

LOL, there's no way Lowry is going to Detroit next year. He'd re-sign with Toronto before he went there.

and LOL to tacos

Grizz have been good since the new year, but so have the Raptors.
They have matched the Pacers since that time (and the Nets have been better).
Quote:
This is a scary game tonight.

Yeah it is but I think the Grizzlies KNOW now that this team is legit.
Quote:
Somehow, someway; we need to neutralize Lowry and DeRozan as much as possible. They are a very, very good back court combo. This is another much needed win for our Grizz.
Quote:
Interesting perspective of Toronto. Everyone knows how good of an outside shooter Steve Novak is. He's been in the game since right before the end of the first quarter. He has yet to take a shot. You would think that they would try to get him some looks. Three from Greivis, two from Derozan, one from Lowry and one from Salmons so far this quarter.
Quote:
Oh great, now they have two good point guards with grudges against the grizzlies .... as if Lowery wasn't enough Vasquez catches fire
Quote:
This wont be a bad bad loss. TOR has a nice team. They are playing good basketball.
Quote:
Just like the first meeting. Kyle Lowry constantly being left wide open despite the fact that shoots 38% from 3.
Quote:
Just gonna hang around for a while and hope they can pull it out in the end. Desperation time basketball.
Quote:
Umm forgive me but chasing Derozen around and letting him get shots wouldn't be considered good D if DeRozen hit those shots. The only reason Prince appears to be playing good D is because DeRozen isn't hitting his shots.
Quote:
Anyone else think TOR athleticism is giving us problems??? Hmmm if only we had some players to counter that?!!
Quote:
DeRozen is a volume shooter he takes a lot of shots so eventually he will get 20pts I could see if Prince was keeping him from shooting but Derozen is just missing his shots.
Quote:
Calathes is dominating
Quote:
I'm personally shocked that a Calathes, Allen, Miller, Prince and Gasol lineup is struggling to score
Quote:
At least that Ed Davis trade really burned Toronto.
Quote:
Chuck Hayes to TP:"Tubby Smith must be stunned that we are both still in the league making millions."

You know what's scary? The Raptors are young and can only get better from here. I wish I could say the same thing for this team.
