Raptors have been playing some decent ball recently so we will have to play hard. Be great to get a back to back win!
Quote:
One thing is for sure there is a lot of athleticism in this
game and should be exciting for sure.

Demar has been on a tear lately. The Raptors have been playing
solid the second half of this season so it's definitely not
a walk in the park.

I'd love to see Lock down D by the clippers, but more realistically
this game will probably be a shoot out, and more so who can
outscore the other team.
Quote:
I actually like the Toronto Raptors this year. I was following that team closely because a) it remind me of Clippers of old and b) Demar derozan is in my fantasy team. I like how their team was constructed and played. The flexibility they gave themselves by trading Rudy Gay and how their offense so much smoother. It doesn't hurt Derozan are playing like a an All-star for their team. He's not that one-dimensional type of player anymore, he's assist, rebounds, and occasionally blocks. Clippers will have their hand full against Toronto. Let's go Clips!

so much ball movement from raps.

i think this is my favorite road court. that 3D looking baseline is trippy
Quote:
I would not say that completely. Blake, besides the double team, is getting whack every time. Doc is very unhappy with the non calls and the calls in favor of the UFC Raptors
Quote:
Yeah right.. jump ball my f***** ass

Oh boy. It is going to be one of those games. Ross is destroying the net. He is on fire!!!! to quote NBA Jam.

LMFAO!!! i love that picture. Im pretty sure Cameron Diaz gets off of this.

Unless I stare at it intensely, I don't even notice the 3D technology (as Matt Devlin called it lol) on the sideline. Is that the same for you guys?

he doesn't need to, he is around 6ft 7 and that is more than tall enough for a SG, the actual position that he should be playing

comparison is with pg, if pg is 6'7" instead of 6'10", he's not quite the same player. Having that height with those ball skills and quickness makes him special.
Ross is pretty tall for a sg though, but he needs to grow his game a lot. You have to like the improvement though, hopefully he keeps it going. Needs strength, ball handling and a mid range game (which I think will come naturally once he gets better ball skills). Given his quickness and leaping ability, he has a high ceiling.

it's interesting he was never really compared with carter, definitely not as often as demar was, and ross is much closer in physical abilities to vince.

Yes but PG is more of a SF than SG at this point, where TR should be a SG.
I agree with you though, imo Ross is one of the most athletic guards in the league atm.

Yo I was at a sports bar tonight one of the biggest in Toronto actually and this place*has hundreds of TV's and I get in there at 7pm...And every god damn TV in there had the Leafs game except for one that had UFC on Sportsnet/Fox.*I was **** pissed off and snapped and yelled at one of the bartenders about it. Lucky for them*they didn't argue and put it on one of the big screens. I noticed after that 30-35% of the place*was watching the Raps game.*

Every waiter/waitress was wearing a Leafs jersey and they had a DJ who played a fire alarm*every time the Leafs scored and announced the goals like a PA announcer at a game. They*played the sound for the Leafs game and Don Cherry everything else was DJs top 40 music*instead of sound for the Raps game when the Leafs were in Intermission.*

With one minute left one the jabronis in there switched the one TV they were playing the Raps*game on to put on UFC. I bitched about it right away because I wanted to see if T-Ross would*get 50 and he was like "oh sorry I thought the game was over".

I swear if I ever get the money I'm opening my own sports bar in this crappy sports city.

Okay. I rarely complain about the whistles. But Blake gets hammered on one end with no call. DJ, a shot blocker, blocks a shot and gets his 3rd foul. Nice.

If Ross can learn to drive to the hoop, he is going to be a stud.

Way to just sit around watching the other team.

Fantastic save by Valanciunas though.
Quote:
Considering how the entire team just let Ross get in there for that putback dunk, I would say Reddick isn't the only problem right now.

DeRoZan and Patterson are out now BTW. I guess the Clips could win this by injuring everyone until there aren't enough guys to put on the court.

Ross is playing out of his mind right now. Jesus couldn't stop that.

Too bad Ross missed that last free throw. He would've had the Raptors' record at 52 points. Great game for him though.

It's what got me starting to hate the sport and the leafs. You know, it's one thing to be a leaf city, we all know it is. But a bar with 20 TV's has to have the leaf game on all of them? To say it's overkill is putting it mildly. Fifteen TV's not good enough? When you take a step back and look at the whole thing it's weird tbh. Then you have the puckhead media that talk down the sport of basketball/NBA because heaven forbid we discuss the sport during hockey season **cough...damian cocks**
