I look forward to the days of our team being the best in the league and being salty over losses like these.

I look forward when every country in the world will celebrate the new year the same day as we do. How glorious would that be? Or, if that's not possible, at least celebrate December 31st at the same time as us.

Raptors in Washington tonight

Quote:
Well TOR is on a 4 game winning streak after beating Indy at home. Indy only scored 82. I guess they were hung over as well.

Wizards are going to have to get physical
Quote:
The way things are shaping up, Toronto is probably going to be the 4th seed in the playoffs. If we don't catch Atlanta, Toronto is likely to be our first round opponent. Winning this game is critical in the battle for home court advantage.
Quote:
Toronto has a top 10 defense, the only advantage the Wizards have is that this game is at home, but it's going to be a good barometer of where the Wiz are as a team.
Quote:
I've never felt good before a Wiz-Raptors game.. too many bad memories (the Ruffin incident, Bosh gamewinner, etc)

They're playing really well since getting rid of Rudy Gay, it seems like the team chemistry is much improved and they are finally taking the reigns off Valanciunas.

Wall has to bring it 100% against Lowry, he's one of those uber-competitive guys who will get into opposing PGs heads if he senses a weakness. Actually I remember reading a quote from Wall about how people think the only the big name pgs are tough, but that players like Lowry are actually some of the hardest to go against.
John Wall on being a PG in the NBA:
Quote:
This is the hardest position in the league to me. Every night somebody is coming at you. Seriously. You get no breaks. People can look at the schedule and you see Kyle Lowry or Jose Calderon and those guys aren’t always talked about, but some of the toughest challenges I have is against guys like that. Because you have to show them the same respect you do a Derrick Rose or Russell Westbrook.

Wow all positive things to say about the Raptors ....

Are teams fan bases really starting to recognize Toronto as a NBA TEAM and not a DLeague?

Good to finally see other teams giving us credit. I could say the same for the Wizards. Their team is playing well and could very well be our first round match up in the playoffs.

I'm watching the Heat play the Magic right now and the Heat commentators just spent a good few minutes talking about the Raptors and how they are excited to play us tomorrow and how we have their attention with our winning streak and they went in depth about how our team is legit and the bench is real and all sorts of stuff like that.

Oh no didn't know Raps is our next game, It's over. Joking aside, This should be a fun game. Heat should be little motivated considering to the fact that Raps was making some noise lately and also Raps playing inspired basketball right now so i expect this to be a close contest. Blowout or Not. Just Win!

Raptors have the best defense in the league in the past 10 days.

Raps fans are too cute. I don't mind them talking ish, that franchise has been down in the dumps for too long. Let them enjoy their fun in the sun.
