A mess? They WERE.... not so much anymore.

The Wiz started the season 5-28 without Wall.

Since he's come back they've gone 10-9.

It hasn't ONLY been because of Wall, but he's brought better balance back to their starting lineup.

They're a better team than their record would indicate. So are the Raps now. There are some parallels there if you look close.

last summer, i was thinking Washington should have been a good story in the race for the 7-8 spot. but wall out, it has taken a tall on their chance. but they will have another good pick this season. (hope for them he is not another Vesely)

They traded the only guy on their roster who can stop ZBo/Gasol in Ed Davis. Definitely going to be a fun game.

Does anyone remember any Grizzlies-Raptors games that have had this much interest since the Grizzlies left Canada?

Raptors are 6-2 since adding Rudy, including 5 straight wins. I don't think that is a fluke, and if nothing else, this is a more confident team.
Also, this is a "return home" game for Bayless, as well as ED. Plus Lowry always plays with a chip on his shoulder.

I kinda feel that a lot of players will be emotional for this game, including Rudy which could make this sloppy. Or it could give it a little bit of a playoff atmosphere.
Hopefully, this is a Grizz win, but not at all confident about that.

I'm so glad that the League Pass feed is the Grizzlies one. I'm not sure if there's an announcing team that bothers me more than the Raps guys.

Good to see those tweets from Tony. Really wish we could've won this game though.

I recommend that people access the site by going straight to the forum page.

Bookmark this

Everything on that page will work for you, including Game Day Threads. The main page has been buggy for quite some time, unfortunately, and it doesn't appear all that fixable. But it is not any more useful than the main forum page anyways. I'd say it's less useful.

Its good to see Tony Allen tweet that, makes me feel better about the loss. Also... I don't think any team wants to play Memphis in the playoffs, they are for real.

they are difficult to play against, because they are physical, but I don't see them winning a playoff round. Their offense is horrible and would be much worse if not for their bigs passing the ball so well and their discipline to go to their bigs.

As long as you can defend the bigs, you will shut them down. They're hard to score against, true, but good teams will outscore them.

they can definitely drain the 3 if needed, and they have an incredible defence to negate any mis match in offence they might have. tony is an elite perimeter defender, i'd say prince still is too, not at his previous levels, but still one of the best. then you have gasol who's a great defender, and z-bo's been pulling his weight on that end lately too. conley's no stiff either. then they have a good backup in bayless who matches their physical style. that team's just well made

Knicks. Hello! :jack:

I have a good feeling about this one and I don't really know why. Knicks 105 Raptors 95

BIG rebound game..I don't think there's anyway we lose.

We need to keel the Craptors. This time its personal !

Lets see how long Gay stays in TONTO LOL.
Raptors are just a drop off spot for financial reasons until the players get the chance to run away.
I love the city, but the ownerships sucks worst than the knicks.
Gay is a temporary fixture to get fans in the seats, I bet he's already figuring out a plan to leave when his time is up and they will be right back where they were. LOL
Should be a fun game.

Lowry and Gay ar carving us up

Why couldn't we trade Amare? Damn
Quote:
I dont even care if we drop to the 3rd or 4th seed at least we would avoid Boston..

and yeah the way the knicks are playing we would most likely lose that series and be 1st round exit once again.

It's not all melo's fault. But he can't be a winning team's leader. Anywho, this team is done. Tank

Im tired pf Melo 30 jumpshots a game.. You are a matchup nightmare like Lebron get yo ass in the paint

Gay>>> Melo

Lowry is good
Quote:
FINALLY thought we had a good team here. Beaten pretty much back to back in a home and away against the Raptors who are more than 10 games below .500....4 game losing streak. Amare looks like the Amare of last year, Melo looks like the Denver Melo, Kidd is dead, Felton remembered that he actually sucks, Shumpert is having that typical sophomore slump that EVERY SINGLE good rookie we've had in the last 15 years has had, Woodson is a very average coach. We flat out suck.
Quote:
is there a team out there we can beat
Quote:
And we didn't even call Phil Jackson.

This team just can't get rid of Isiah.
Quote:
I've been saying it since October.

Carmelo as a perimeter player doesn't work, especially considering Amare's defense. The structural flaw of STAT & Melo couldn't be more obvious IMO.

Shades of Celtics in playoffs on that last play

CRAPtors 3 games
Knicks 0 games

Ya'll are getting PWND by Toronto priceless!!

They **** quit at the end. Didn't even try to prevent the inbound pass.

This team really needs to change a lot of things.

Our team sucks!!! Stop taking quarters off you freakin punks!!!

I've said it before.............STOP THE F*CKING TALKING ABOUT WHAT YOU'RE GONNA DO AND PLAY THE DAMN GAME!!!!

congrats raps,knicks suck for eternity.
