meh, I ain't a homer, our board members know pretty much everything about every team we play. Other fans should be ashamed they do not.

Idiots I tell ya.

The Wizards are a team of complete rejects.

Okafor: A bust at #2 who got drafted so high because he owned in college. Never became a star center people hoped. Notoriously bad on offense.
Wall: Hasn't improved a lick, can't shoot worth a lick, plays out of control. Looks like a bust as well. Almost 4 TOs per game for his career.
Nene: Injury prone, got dumped by Denver because they knew he was starting to fade.
Jordan Crawford: Aspiring to be Nick Young
Trevor Ariza: Highlight of career is being 2nd best player in the high school all-star game behind LeBron, has been on 6 NBA teams in 8 years. lol
Jan Vesely: Complete and utter bust, highlight of career is getting kissed by hot girlfriend after getting drafted

Their roster is a complete mess and the only player that appears to be of any redeemable value is Bradley Beal. He'll probably struggle like hell to become anything on Washington given their history.

For Wizards fans to be haughty and expecting victories against anyone is pathetic.

I smell a MEM blowout and a Rudy Gay hate parade soon after.

They traded the only guy on their roster who can stop ZBo/Gasol in Ed Davis. Definitely going to be a fun game.

The Grizzlies are going to win in a rout...and Rudy will have 35+ points on sub 40% shooting.
Quote:
Does anyone remember any Grizzlies-Raptors games that have had this much interest since the Grizzlies left Canada?

Raptors are 6-2 since adding Rudy, including 5 straight wins. I don't think that is a fluke, and if nothing else, this is a more confident team.
Also, this is a "return home" game for Bayless, as well as ED. Plus Lowry always plays with a chip on his shoulder.

I kinda feel that a lot of players will be emotional for this game, including Rudy which could make this sloppy. Or it could give it a little bit of a playoff atmosphere.
Hopefully, this is a Grizz win, but not at all confident about that.

We win it. Can't wait to see it. Very proud of the team.

The big question is rudy gonna become a Grizz Killa?

But we should win this one just play solid D.

I think tonight's the night Toronto finds out why we traded Rudy

I hope JB goes Nuts on them tonight! They did him wrong last yr. For those who dont know the story, they tended him an offer, then traded for Lory and pulled their offer before he could sign it. He said that he was going to sign it. I for one am glad they did it. Memphis is so much better & its so much more fun going into EVERY game knowing you have a chance to come out winners instead of KNOWING youre going to loose it.

Lowry's D destroys all of what JB could do, as much as i kinda like him

I hope Rudy and DD go in on MEM tonight. A DD dunk over Allen would be sweet

Funny quote huh? Davis ranked statistically as one of the worst post defenders in the league. Heck, Jonas ranks better than him, and he's a raw rookie. Amir is better as well. Aaron Gray actually ranks very high in that category.

I love the false Bayless story too - the Raps didn't back out of a contract offer, they rescinded a qualifying offer. It happens all the time, and it made him an unrestricted free agent early in free agency - if anything, the Raps did him a favour. Not the Raps' fault he had no value on the market.

And if Bayless said he was going to sign the QO - then he was just admitting he didn't want to sign long term with the Raps. No pity here.

Ed Davis was playing well, but he just is not the kind of guy who stops Z-Bo or Gasol. Those are some big bodies and Ed is a slim dude.

Gray, JVal, and Amir are all more likely to be efficient defending those two. Even Bargs has better size and is a better one on one match up against those guys.

You're pretty much doing what some of those Wizards fans did.

They're not nearly as bad as you think. If Wall and Nene had started the season healthy they'd probably be in a playoff spot right now.

as much as he underrated them, you're overrating them. that team's a mess, albeit less so if wall was healthy. he's no superstar yet, and only superstars can carry shit teams to the playoffs.

Is that true about the Bayless offer? While I liked Jerryd he was too inconsistent for us and almost always playing injured...

He got to sign with a contender, what would he have to be upset about?
