Biedrins was extremely young when he came into the league. Took him a few years to find his game. He had a nice stretch for a while though. I think that's what the Spurs fans are talking about... 2006-09.

the biedrins comparison is fair, but JV is better offensively I think. I think JV could turn out to be the next pau. "knock on wood" but wow, we'd have a real jem

this. Biedrins had no jump shot and could not shoot a FT to save his life.

+1 knock on wood but JV's been our best draft pick in a long, long time. Having a potential 20/10 guy in a couple years is something to be very happy about.

Better than Bosh? He was also a consistent 20/10 guy for us. Unless you count 9 years ago as a "long, long time".

Pau? Hes softer than Bargnani... they are completely different players. I see a KG comparison to JV.

He's neither like Biedrins nor Pau. He's bigger, less athletic and more skilled than Biedrins, and smaller, less skilled and tougher than Pau. He's going to be pretty unique. I see a bit of Garnett in him. A bit of Chandler. I'm not sure why he needs to be compared to white guys. If he gets a bit stronger and continues to get more comfortable, while engaging in games at a high competitive level like he is already prone to doing, then he's going to have black rooks being compared to him. Yes he has the fundamentals that many American kids don't, but he has a lot of the edge that American kids get in competing at an early age.

what about duncan? I think that's one comparison in terms of skill set that's pretty accurate. sure he may be less skilled, but as far as tools go, and ambition, he's right there with duncan

Biedrins also once shot 34% from FT. There's another difference.

Not a great comparison tbh.

I really hope that Anthony Davis is healthy when it comes time for us to play the Hornets.... because I'm going to LOVE watching that matchup.

Rockets

I miss KYLE...KYLE MOTHA F***ING LOWRY

Like him way more than Lin, sheeeei (the wire) I like their whole roster. They have my 3 of my favorite rooks (acy Ross and Val) they have Lowry they have dd and Bargs whom I like!! Even if no one else does
Quote:
He's been hurt...missed half of the Raptors game.

I missed Lowrysanity. Dude had balls and a mean streak that you dont see in the NBA these days. Lowry was as complete a PG as you can find in the NBA.

But i would do the trade for Harden anyday. Beard's ability to split double team and attack the rim is quite frankly probably top 3 in the NBA. Harden's elite penetration ability combined with his shot is an even rarer skill than Lowry's all around game.

Quote:
it will be KYLE! KYLE MOTHA F**KIN LOWRY'S return to the toyota center. after their double ot loss to the spurs he's gonna be looking to go off

bargs came off one his worst shooting games in his career, 2-19, and only 4 pts. no fts and no 3s! he wants to bounce back so dont sleep on him

asik hasnt had one game this season where he had less than 2 turnovers! he's avg 3.3 right now. at the very least i hope his to's are down to 2-2.5 by january. im gonna start keeping track of his to's till he goes to 1

should be another high scoring game

@Jonathan_Feigen

Rockets rookie Scott Machado back from D-League.

motie and machado called back? delfino is still out, and aldrich has been out so that could be the reason.

After that Lin ended with Felton , he returned to being a fat

Let's go Rockets! Rockets favored by 5, but let's beat the spread. Playing the Raptors will bring Lin back to his days of knocking down game-winning 3 ptrs. Time for the team to show some killer instinct and destroy inferior opponents, not play down to their level!

should be able to win easily. Just a heads up, enjoy watching Calderon defend Harden in the entire 4th quarter.

I really hope JV doesn't wreck him too bad but they really should have taken Drummond over Davis!
