I'm shocked at the hate that Collins is getting from the Philly fans.... Guy helped turn that team around and now people want to run him out of town?

NEWSFLASH! The Sixers aren't really that good! A decent team, yes, but if Philly fans thought that their team was a legit contender they must've been high.

I really hope we dont end up as a treadmill team like the 76ers. They're like the poor mans Grizzlies trying to win through depth every year instead of waking the hell up and trading Iguodala and another player for a 2nd tier type allstar who may be able to lead the team especially offensively.

Agreed.

Biggest mistake they're making is holding on to that guy.

i was never a fan either. Remember how many times his name was brought up as someone we should be trading for?

Absolutely disagree. Biggest mistake they made was blowing their FA money on Elton Brand, who was shot. Iggy has kept them competitively despite that..... but if they had brought in somebody useful with all that cash instead, who knows...

He's a better defender than anybody on our team..... and he'd probably be our second best scorer now that Leandro is gone. Iggy doesn't get enough credit, though I'd agree he's not a number one guy. He's a guy that buys in on the defensive end.... that's a great thing for team chemistry.

Ugh. I'm glad that never happened.

That's true. He hasn't been terrible for them though... just not the all-star that he was.

There's no way in hell that I'd ever pay more than $8-10M/yr for a guy like Iggy though. Just doesn't do enough to justify a near max player salary.

WTF do you care? I make a comment about Iguodala and you're jumping on me like i disparaged hockey or something. And since i wasn't responding to you why are you so worried about it? Someone piss in your breakfast this morning?
