What numbers can we expect from JV next season?

I'm not sure if you talked about this before, but I would like to know your opinion on what do we expect JV to average next season. And how many min. he will average?

I think it will be something like: 8points, 7 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, 3 assists in 18-20 minutes

VanCity 02-04-2012 03:25 PM

7/7 and iam happy. basically what ed davis did last season.

I think that first season he will be in a foul trouble on a constant basis, so doubt he can average 25mpg

:dancing:

did you get that off my player on 2k12?

bigmandinky 02-04-2012 04:02 PM

I'm hoping raptors give him big minutes right off the bat, instead of playing him like 20 mpg for a good portion of the season, like many teams tend to do with young big men out of Europe. He's played in Euroleague for a few years now, so he has experience playing with some of the bigger centres and remaining healthy.

Pau Gasol played 36 mpg in his first season, and he might have even been thinner than Jonas back then.

In 28mpg, I could see him going 13 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 1.5 blocks.

Not going to happen! we should keep our expectations reasonable so after first season fans don't start calling him a bust..

OP13 02-04-2012 04:11 PM

8/7/1

Alex 02-04-2012 04:12 PM

In 25 mins I give him ~10/7/1 block

Superjudge 02-04-2012 05:03 PM

12pts 7 rebs 2 blks

one minute.

KoolAid 02-04-2012 05:18 PM

If he starts : 16/10/3/1 (PPG/RPG/APG/BPG)

If not: 10/7/1/1-ish

js12 02-04-2012 05:35 PM

Forget numbers, I expect him to bring a tough mentality on defence and rebounding.

That's going to happen no matter what. ;)

Love the time machine stats. :)

LOG 02-04-2012 06:05 PM

I think he is around 7ft tall and weighs around 250 lbs, + very long arms and big hands. According to BC we should have exact measurements soon.. He is still growing and obviously adding more mass. I don't know if it is reasonable to expect, but I'm hopping that he can be 7.1 ft tall and 260lbs next season and that with all of the JV skills looks like should be some serious force inside.
