Yeah me not liking Triano/Bargs/Jose is not justified one bit. As for Biyombo, I don't mind with a lower pick. But as our only pick at #5, no thanks. Who knows I'm probably wrong.

I'll be happy with either Biyombo or Knight. I kind of hope the Jazz make the decision easy for us by drafting Knight though.

My ideal situation would be to draft BK at 5.

Somehow acquire a 2nd pick and use it on either Biyombo or Valenciunas.

Did any of you hear about the POR/SAS trade that fell apart yesterday?

It was gonna be Miller's expiring, Batum and their pick for Tony Parker, but the Spurs wanted to include Jefferson which is why POR backed out.

Since POR really wants a young pg and are very high on kemba, I wonder if we can somehow come up with a tangible proposal for that package...

Gives us a year to not worry about our PG, but we get Batum who's gonna be a stud. Him and DD on the wings is a scary thought.

Honestly i don't know enough about the players talked about to have a preference. All i really want is that we don't comprimise our current draft position by trading the pick for some veteran who is owed a ton of money. That's alll i ask for.

Kanter would be nice too.

What I'm wondering is where the undying love for BC gets justified, when so much of what you post would seem to undermine any confidence in him.

The Raptors love Brandon Knight, but would they take Bismack Biyombo even if Knight is on the board at No. 5? I'm hearing it's a real possibility.

Draft Knight at #5, trade for a 2nd round pick and get David Lighty.

If Knight isn't available, then Kemba. Gotta love his playing style.

As much as I want KEMBA or even Knight... realistically I think this is whats going to happen:

Mock Draft: Last-minute shifting before the big night | NBA.com

maybe BC feels there is a strong and deep guard draft next year, therefore he doesn't want kemba or knight... although I think that is very very stupid because Kemba is a stud.

Hope to hell it isn't a 7ppg in Euro Valanciunas or a 6ppg in Congo league Biyombo. Enough with these risky players. You take risks at number 15-20 in the draft. Even Leonard is not a worthy #5 with 15ppg and 10 boards on a weak college team.

Brandon Knight shot 42% from the field and 17ppg with only 4 assists per game. Kemba Walker is a bit better than him with better scoring, steals, almost the same assists, so not sure why everyone wants Knight over Walker.

Raptors owners need to be involved in this shit and tell Colangelo to not take a dumb ass risk.

i wish, but that happens in fantasy land.. the owners are just drinking their champagne and blowing money. they could give a damn about who BC picks for the Toronto Raptors

This is the type of draft that could have us taking Knight/Walker/Biyombo #5 and someone at #7-10 ends up better and everyone starts second guessing down the road forgeting the kind of draft this is.

you want the bean counters at MLSE to tell BC who to pick ???...not me

i'll go on record now since i probably won't get back here before we pick....

in my best David Stern voice -
with the 5th pick, the Toronto Raptors take Brandon Knight from Kentucky
