Noah who is the best player on the Bulls is not their 1st option. And Noah is Top 5 and arguably right now the best all around centre in the league, so comparisons to Noah are beyond optimistic.

there needs to be an option between top one and second one; as others have said something like "solid starter."

well, i guess you kind of put that, not sure i like the term "not very important." He's already fairly important and your C will always be important coz it's quite a unique role, like a PG. 2s are like 3s, 3s are quite like 2s and 4s, and 4s are a little bit like 3s and 5s.

anyway, not sure where will JV will end up offensively, he's shown ability to hit shots tho and he's good at ft, but i think he will improve his D and Reb significantly and he's been getting a lot better at setting screens imo.

all this adds up to the chance to become an above average Centre in this league, probably better than that even. which means he will be an important player for us.

top 10, maybe top 5 C in league imo.

If he will rest and do individual workouts with a good coach every summer from now, he will be an all-star.

What Jeff said ...

At worst a solid starter, at best an All Star Centre (top 5 in League)

I think people need to remember that he is only 21, still a kid really. He will be fine and have no doubt he will be an impact player in the next few years.
He has a decent mid-range shot, he can score around the rim and in transition. Most important he has a great motor and plays with passion. I think that a lot of times our player don't really count him when they run plays, most of his points come from second chances, late clock scenarios and very little pick n roll. One thing I notices is that GV tries to get him way more involved than Lowry and run plays with him. Lowry on the other hand teaches him more about D and screens.
