Brook Lopez could definitely play some PF next to Dwight Howard. That would be a very tough front court to play against. Though, D12 + Nate Robinson would also be a tough front court to play against.

I don't claim to watch a lot of Nets games, but from what I have seen against Toronto, Hump does seem to have matured a lot. His problem was always that he didn't know where his shots were coming from - other than that he was always a good defender and rebounder. In New jersey he seems to have a lot better shot selection.

Ball goes up, ball comes down.. someone ends up with it. That is Hump's success on the Nets. No one else goes for the ball....

the guy has 1 successful year in the rebounding category, thats it, nothing about the rest of his game improved and he rebounded well on a team with no other rebounders

I thought Hump really improved over his tenure as a Raptor.

He played backup PF on a bad team who always dumped the ball into a PF. He gets ripped for taking bad shots when at those times nobody else was able to step up to the plate and take those shots.

When the team played well he was great, when the team was playing like shite he didn't look good. That's how it tends to go for roleplayers.

Woah.... sounds like you're talking about Bargnani too.....

Hump didn't need to take those shots the defense gave him..... in NJ, he's not taking them but still finding ways to score.

Nets want another star and Nene takes a large chuck of salary... Hump is just the cheaper option

Bargnani gets ripped for settling for bad shots which is a big difference.

I'm not sure it's fair to compare Hump to Bargnani. Bargnani is a number one selection while Hump was brought over to fill out a roster and was acquired mostly because of bumping into and having a conversation with Mitchell in an airport.

To me, every player on a roster needs to be held accountable. I'm not comparing them as players, but this team has had issues for a long time regarding players not buying into their roles.

Bahh, sure Kim Kardashian is hot. But she's 30yrs old and admitedly addicted to plastic surgery. I'm guessing that she'll hit a wall in a few years and will be on housewives of Beverly Hills.

Apparently every player ever to be on a Raptors roster still needs to be held accountable. That's hardcore Carp, you're an uncompromising young man.
