FOR the LAST time

Calderon has no trade value. After this draft, every team has a better PG except for Miami and maybe Indiana

Why the hell Chicago would do that? They didn't give up Noah to get Kobe now they'll trade him with a 1st pick overall, reigning ROY for the damn FA Chris Bosh and the bad deal of Calderon?

For the last time, I give up on you and the Raptors....

Keep overrating your players, try to trade Bosh for gold. I feel sorry for Colangelo he's a very capable guy, he drafted one of the future superstars this year and you keep talking about Calderon...

No idiot would trade Manu for Bosh PERIOD. Seriously this thread needs to moved to the trade proposals thread. I dont know why someone would want to trade a top 10 franchise player in the league for someone whos 32 and has recently had a history of injuries. You're the one that overrates Manu and other Spurs players in your thread. The Spurs were good 3-4 years ago. Now theyre 30+ and arent winning as much.

Manu has won so many games for the Spurs, with energy and his clutch plays. There 70% of the plays are set by him. Even Duncan's post ups go through his hands. He runs an awful lot of pick'n rolls every game. He runs off screens every game. Who does it here?
Spurs can't go through the 1st round without him
About Blair you just show the worst case scenario
We can't keep Bosh, otherwise he'll leave without compensation
Too risky! Maybe take back 2 youngsters and a guy that could change the franchise...

Believe me, Manu has been through worse situations and he got back in each of them. I already said it and I repeat: He's hunger

And no one will make better offer for Bosh. Who would want him in trades are the same teams that will pursue him as a FA. SA is one of the only teams that would offer anything back because of this year. Bosh isn't going to be traded for a 20 year old kid that scores 20ppg...

Dude, I can so tell you love your Manu. That's okay. Love for a favourite athlete clouds a lot people's judgement, though. Everybody knows Manu was a great player in the past. All the shit you listed is in the PAST. You're not getting the point people are trying to make here. Manu is 33 next season and relies heavily on his athleticism. His play is only going to decline in the future. It's not smart to pay players like that over $10 million a year. But more importantly, the Raps would have NO guarantee that Manu would want to stay in Toronto, so they just end up in the same boat as with Bosh. Get a clue. His contract expires at the end of the season.

Actually, the prediction about Blair being in the league is not a "worst case scenario." It's the realistic scenario, given the fact that he's missing both ACLs.

Now, I bolded the section of your response about a better offer. There is potential for a better offer, depending on a couple of variables. Portland just lost Oden and desperately wants to be a title contender. Bosh would be an upgrade from Lamarcus Aldridge. If Colangelo went to Bosh and got him to provide Portland with a verbal agreement that he'd resign with the Blazers, I think Colangelo could work out a deal that sends Bosh to Portland in exchange for a package that includes Aldridge and Fernandez. Bosh might agree to this because he wants to play for a contender. Aldridge is locked up longterm. The Raps wouldn't necessarily keep him. There are a number of teams who would be interested in Aldridge, so the Raps could use him to acquire a quality guard or center. I'd rather get Aldridge and Fernandez because there is less risk involved. That's one example of a better trade. Is it likely to happen? Probably not. But neither is a trade with San Antonio.
