I would love it if the Scottish guy who does pro soccer commentary could do the Raptors game.

"Amir Johnson makes a mess of his supper."

"Davis with the rebound to Calderon... Calderon has it... to DeRozan... passes to Bargnani.. shoots... GOOOOAAAALLL!!!" [all game long!]

Thats awesome Tom. I bet you are very excited. The games should actually be very good in spite of where the teams are in the standings.

I'll enjoy your updates. Cheers!

PS. If you ever make it to Toronto, the tickets are on me!

I don't know if we're talking about the same guy, there is this one old Scottish or Irish guy who calls La Liga games and champs league games who always uses the most ridiculous analogies and descriptions in his analysis. He often compares Lionel Messi to a God and does so in the most over the top, hilarious way. He'll say shit like "Lionel Messi is not of this world. He plays in another dimension. his own stratosphere of God-like greatness." or some bullshit like that.

Whoever he is - i would love it if he called the match.

Also, Welcome Tom. I enjoyed reading your blog. Hope to hear more about the Raptors in London experience.

Nice first blog post Tom!

I will put your blog as a bookmark in my phone and try to read it while I have nothing to do when I'm in London this weekend

Since I am from Sweden I really know how you feel. we are so lucky that THE Raptors actually are going to play in England!!! When I heard the news I immediatley started planning the trip. I knew that I was going. Even if I had to travel alone.

I got two friends to join me and tomorrow we fly to London! I can't tell you how excited I am!!! I've been dreaming about watching the Raptors live for like 10 years... So this is really a dream coming true for me.

I hope this weekend will be the best ever for both of us!

I didn't know if this was important enough to deserve it's own thread, so I'll post it here. But Amir Johnson will be in London giving out free tickets. Here's the video for more details..

Hey Tom.

Who do you think the majority of fans is cheering for? Or is it about even in fan support?

What does this mean? Because BBall is not the most popular sport in England they couldn't be excited for this NBA trip?
