![]() I'm in the UK visiting family at the moment.
I can't find anyone else that's willing to pay the 90+ pounds (almost $150) for tickets. So, I'll just be watching the game on TV. ![]() Why are the tickets so much!?!?! |

![]() Good morning, fellas.
Game day is finally here! Can't tell you how pumped I am for 8pm tonight when action gets underway at The o2. I'm curious to know how many of you are going to be able to watch, and how many will be unable to catch the game due to it being during working hours? Here's My 4th blog post on this weekend's Raps games here in the UK Tom Hurley Sports: GAME DAY IN LONDON Those of you who are going to be at the game tonight, drop me a line on twitter and i'll see you for a drink pre-game. Cheers & GO RAPS Tom |

Hey Raps nation,
Hope you enjoyed the game last night! Be interesting to hear your comments on how the game came across on tv, the crowd noise etc. I mean. Here's my latest blog on this weekend's games here in London - Tom Hurley Sports: LET'S PLAY TWO Rapsfan, there were one helluhvalot of Italian and Spanish accents at the arena, it would seem many Bargs/Jose fans made the trip over to see their man play in person. Quite a few Slovenians there too for Sascha Vujacic, and I even bumped into a Frenchman who was in town for the game, although he was more of a Lakers supporter than a Johan Petro fan. Back to the arena for game two of the series tonight, can't wait! Cheers, Tom Last edited by TomHurley; 03-05-2011 at 09:07 AM. |

![]() Another great read Tom. Frankly, you saw a legit Raptors game from 2010/11. They play pretty good for 36 minutes.
And surprising that the NBA dropped the ball with all the extras. This might be a "feeler" year. Maybe they will bring the Lakers/Celtics next year and really do it up now that they can see the interest. |

![]() Hey Tom. Good read that last entry.
Glad you enjoyed the game in person and that you at least saw three quarters of decent Raptors ball. As for some of the 'missed opportunities' that you mentioned in your blog, yeah it's too bad that it seemed like the NBA only half-tried. You'd think they'd pull out more bells and wistles in the form of fan activity stations, video games or what have you. Personally i am not that big on that sort of thing (as i am used to it), but when it's something that happens once in a blue moon such as this event, the league really should have pulled out more of the stops. Hope you enjoy today's match and that the other team end up victorious. |

![]() London should buy the Hornets. They don't have an owner.
You guys can convert a cruise ship into a basketball stadium and sail around the US with CP3 and West and that Rudy cheap shottin' Ariza chump. |

![]() Hey lads & lasses,
You can check out my photos from that epic game 2 in London on my latest blog Tom Hurley Sports: MANCHESTER'S HOOP DREAM Fancylad, yah the NBA definetly could and should of done a lot more, but hey at least we got the games and at the end of the day for me that's what I was there for... hopefully when they have this WNBA game in a couple months they'll lay on a bit more of a show off the court. Cheers, Tom |
