Read my initial post. I was responding to you including the Randolph trade in the mistakes Memphis made. I was saying that I didn't think it was a bad move, since they gave up peanuts, and I consider it comparable to us trading Bargnani for Boozer, at least in the short term. I doubt we'd keep Boozer after his current deal expires.

The answer is...YES!

Clearly, Ujiri is putting together a front office Superteam.

No. Just cause we have a new GM doesn't mean we are the NEXT superteam. Being a playoff team is questionable. NEXT Superteam is wishful thinking and delusional. You'd have to assume so many changes, so many things go right, so many good players, perfect opportunity, perfect everything for it to occur here if we want to be the NEXT superteam. AKA wishful/delusional.

Let's not just gloss over this.

They may not become the next one but Raps will need to be a superteam to win. More superteams likely have to form since it's all about championships. Spurs winning would have been the best thing that could have happened for delusional confidence in doing it the traditional way.

Now it's on to some more sneaky player deals while they're at the strip club.

If I'm Dwight, I don't even go back to the Lakers unless they make big changes AND bring in the stud of the future. There are better superteams to form.

The last superteams have players such as Michael Jordan, SHAQ, and Lebron James. If Wiggins is as advertised, and falls to a team like the Cavs who have a nice supporting cast with a top 3 point guard like Irving, and young players such as Thompson, Zeller, and their next draft pick. Whatever team drafts Wiggins is the next super team.

Shaq and LeBron left to win championship and create super teams. Wiggins might do the same thing in by coming to Toronto

A super team with not a single all star and Dwayne Casey as coach.. while you're at it why not just make a thread asking if we're a dynasty..

No. We are not the 'next' superteam, but hopefully we are building towards that goal in the near future.

Right now we have no salary cap room, very few valuable trading pieces and virtually no bench at all so it is not going to happen over night.

It's going to take more than a #1 draft pick next year too.

We don't have the cap room to sign for the talent neither do we have the pieces to trade for them, we're also too good to draft talent.
