Default We need to get Mike Miller now

He can be had for cheap and he'd be the perfect fit for going into next year making our starting lineup complete. Although hes an average defender, hes a good help defender, a very smart player, and an excellent all around offensive player. He'd give us another ballhandler, and hes one a very good passer at the sg position(not to mention his tremendous shooting)

As the saying goes,

GET ER DONE BC

Hopefully, we can trade away Kapono and another player/pick. Not a fan of Kapono.

kapono was awesome in the playoffs last year. being on the same court as Bosh and JO will be a huge advantage this year. why in such a rush to ditch him?

miller would be a decent addition, but we need athleticism on the wing, big time.

TOR gets: Mike Miller, Warrick
Grizz get: Parker, Bargs, Baston

Its the only trade within reason that worked on the trade checker. They would never take Kapono since his deal is longer.

What do you guys think?

I would be if he's used how Sam used him in the playoffs against the Magic. (aka actually ran some plays for Jason)

Kapono could be and hopefully will be an key asset and role player coming off the bench for Toronto next season.

See Gasol, Pau.

Memphis just wants shorter deals and to move their team it looks like. Miller is basically the last vet left on their team who actually has trade value and a decent sized contract, I fully expect some team to snatch him up that offers the shortest contracts/best deal for MEM's cap

I don't see who else we can trade for miller that would have a large enough salary and be reasonable. Parker, perhaps, but I would rather deal Kapono.

Like I said before, you would maybe have to add some players/future picks. Humphries or Graham maybe?

I wouldn't mind that deal, but I don't think we need Warrick, so I would rather keep Bargs.

Bargs would be the sweetener of this deal. I don't think AP and trash will get it done. Then again, the biggest bust in history, some useless draft picks got Pau Gasol..

Woah .... did you mean one of those three along with Parker or all four for Miller? If you mean the latter that would mean we have about 6 or 7 rosters players for next season.

I don't see why Memphis would keep Miller since they are trying to save money and don't seem to be a contender next year. Parker's contract ends sooner and the other contracts are also easily manageable.
