Yep, as a team we can't hit FT's all of a sudden and it's killing us.

The inability to not get killed in the paint nor finish off good defensive possessions with the rebound is killing us most of all. The points that came from the non-call in the cylinder exemplified that as well. There is just no resistance most of the time.

Why Ed Davis plays so few minutes still bewilders me. We are trying to win by trading baskets, with us shooting jumpshots and opposing teams racking up points in the paint.

No offence but I feel like you are making Ed Davis out to be some kind of defensive monster.

He grabbed boards, because thats what he's asked to do. However he wasn't shutting down Maxil/Drummond or Monroe.

It's part of the game. Even the greatest players can miss 1 free throw, it's not the point. Bargs played bigtime today, and people can clearly see he is not The problem. if your best scorer gives you a huge performance and u still lose to Detroit, something is wrong.
Less than 1 min to go; No timeouts left, 2 ridiculously tough shots by your PG. then your are down by 1, no timeouts and in 7 seconds they can't get the job done. What a shame.

There's a different wipping boy every night, but most nights it's Bargnani because he's been here the longest.

Our last 2 games were against Charlotte and Detroit..and Derozan completely disappeared...These are 2 games that you should be filling up the stat sheet, and he was invisible.

He was playing excellent team defense, including getting rebounds. You'll notice that the shooting percentage of the opposing team dropped once again when he was in there.

And how suggesting he should get more than paltry minutes equates to me thinking he's a defensive monster is a real puzzle.

I'm going to have to watch games more closely to see the impact Davis has on the defensive end. I think he's a great rebounder and tonight he was excellent on both ends, but I don't quite see the defensive impact you keep mentioning aside from the rebounds.

Is he hedging quicker? Is it possible he's facing detroits bench?
