+1 on the Derozan coments
-1 on the DeRozan comments. He was not completely invisible against Charlotte. That's just dreck. This was his first non-impactful game in some time on both ends of the floor. My biggest concern is that he isn't looking to make plays for others as much the last few games. If he gets back to that, and defends better than he did tonight, then there is little to worry about. But I could say that about a half dozen players. Right now there is just a lot of individual play and little else in general.

Ultimately it's ridiculous to look for who is the one problem, either in any single game, or throughout the season. Right now it's just the usual muddle with no chemistry. There's the problem. Hopefully that gets turned around in the next few weeks or they really need to look to tank like crazy.

Is he hedging quicker? Is it possible he's facing detroits bench?
He plays properly in terms of positioning, and reacts well. Has since day one.

I was never a fan of Bargs, and I said it all along- his first few years under Sam Mitchell were just ridiculous. Remember our 3 bigs at the starting line up? Bosh JO and Bargs at the SF spot....
Anyhow, you can blame him for certain things, he is not the best defender of course, but he is not the main problem.

that explains it then. Just limit those minutes. And trade baskets otherwise.

Oh - in wins, Ed's minutes are extended, not limited. Go figure.

ONE OF the main problems and i'll stand by that until he proves otherwise over several months (like the remainder of the season and beyond). He's a liability on D and i can outrebound him. If he's not hitting shots like tonight he's a massive liability. Until i see him struggle offensively but effect the game positively in other areas on a consistent basis i'll think he needs to go.

Aside from this game tonight's game as it hasn't been updated, he has a .134 win shares/48 minutes this season, pretty solid.

I missed the game, but can I make an assumption on Demar? It is something that has been concerning me only lately.
There is this thing called advanced scouting. And teams seem to be employing the same strategy against him now and he can't handle it. The second he gets the ball, I mean immediately, he is swarmed. He makes a bad decision in most cases, can't get off a pass and to make matters worse, he can't get a call when fouled.

Did this happen again this game?

So what do you think 'realistically' you can get for bargs?
Trade him and we will look the same.

Without Bargnani's offence this is a blowout loss.

If you were the coach you would start Ed Davis over Bargnani right?

It's really amazing how people flip flop on this guy with one good game. It's last season all over again. Take a good look at the last two weeks of posts around here, a lot of people were calling for Davis to start over Bargs and i wasn't really one of them. I like Davis but he isn't a starter yet, not sure he'll ever be.

It's not impossible. Anywho, I liked your joke, I figured someone was going to do that. Now, the plot thickens as the post before this one got downvoted.
