Default We just arent good

Thats the simple fact, the excuses have dried up, our team is flat out not good and i think the 47 win year was a true anomolly and being .500 was the best to hope for, somewhere Smitch is smiling and laughing at us all, counting his $.

I said this when Sam was fired. He was the least of our problems! This team at some poit is going to have to go on an 8-10 game win streak. And it won't happen with this roster.

Indeed...I love how we're 4-11 with Triano. All the Sam haters are dumbfounded.

Significant roster change has to be made.

Same old with Triano.

No way.

Chauncey isn't letting his team lose to the lowly Raptors, don't even think about it.

Oh, okay then. My bad. I forgot that he chooses who the Nuggets lose to.

That's what great players do. They refuse to let their teams lose to inferior teams.

And do you honestly believe that JO's presence would cause Bosh to make his late-game shots?

it was proven even before Sam was fired that it was on the players, not the coaching staff.
the coach can't do anything about opposing players hitting open threes because the wings can't stay on their own guy.
we should have at least 17 or 18 wins right now, but we blew leads and didn't play with the energy like we did 2 years ago.

Interesting...

So this season when Boston lost its 18 game or whatever win streak vs the then 6 and 19 Golden State Warriors? It was Bostons 3 great players that decided they should lose to such a great GSW team?

Or how about when the 57 win 1st seed Mavericks lost to 8th seed GSW in the worse 1st round upset in NBA playoff history, it was the great Dirk Nowitizki who decided he didn't want to win that series?

The declines of Parker and Moon really really hit this team bad. Coming in we expected

Jose - bad defender
Parker - good/great defender
Moon - good defender
Bosh - mediocore defender
JO - great defender

In reality we got

Jose - bad defender
Kapono/slow Parker - bad defender
Moon - mediocore defender
Bosh - bad defender
JO - great defender

When you cant guard 4 positions of the 5, you have issues. I also think BC expected a top notch rebounding team with Moon/Bosh/JO but yea, worst in the league. Dont ask me to explain that.

No defence/rebounding = bad team

sad part is theres even more problems than that

Its too sad, we are at the bottom of the Atlantic now which is bad enough but our record is already too good to get one of the top picks next year

If we somehow improve, we are looking at the 8th spot in the playoffs and then we are out

Not a very good result either way

so my guess is that when we head off to the lottery in '09, BC better pick an above-average wing/sg. its also obvious that there are several people in the roster that needs to be waived-off or needn't re-sign...

I said this before and'll say it again. We should package the first round pick in next years draft and get a wing that has already proven himself. This years draft sucks so we might aswell trade that pick

Seriously, he is gonna pick Stephen Curry and i will lose my mind and try to burn down the ACC!!! But many here will love it because "potential, upside, so and so has injury history" etc etc

not exactly
with the difficult schedule, amount of road games, and the few practices they had time for. I dont think Sam could have made much of a difference with his coaching
the timing of the coaching change wasnt very clever, BC should have done it earlier or waited for the road skid to end.
To truly evaluate triano

Man, i'd bet anything that if Sam wasnt canned our record would be better right now, not by leaps and bounds, but definately hovering around that .500 mark still, maybe 3 or 4 games under.

I have to admit i wanted Sam canned.. I still do....
But to fire the guy and have no "plan" was stupid.

You know Sam can motivate these guys to play .500 ball....thats as good as he is....

I was thinking BC had plans to bring in someone to push us further...instead we get nothing but a puppet coaching crew for teh rest of the season.

Nothing against Triano at all. He did welll for Canada, but this is the NBA.....

BC do something you fucking twat

We better get lucky in the lottery this year and please don't trade away the pick BC unless you get something really good.

Boston
Cleveland
Orlando
Atlanta
Detroit
Miami

are in for sure. It leaves 2 spots
