Default We HAVE to keep Bargs

1) His stock is all-time low.

2) he's one of the best big men in the league.

3) If we trade him, we're going to lose him during his contract year. One in which he might put in 50% effort, meaning he'll be an absolute BEAST.

4) He's a nice fit off the bench and would be a really versatile tool in play-off games.

5) We can't allow anyone, ever, to get a 100% effort Bargs. He'll be an absolute monster. I say keep him here forever just to make sure this NEVER happens.

6) Its not really his fault that all of these unrealistic expectations have been put on him over the years. He doesn't have the mental capacity to be the same type of leader that other franchises have.

You are living in a fantasy. We have been waiting 6 years now and nothings changed. For the sake of the future of Bargnani and the Raptors, best thing to do is trade him.

Impossible to argue against this original post.... and I refuse to acknowledge any feeble efforts to do so!

Are you actually suggesting that the Raps keep him despite his struggles and lack of effort, so he doesn't play well somewhere else? That preposterous. That's like saying I don't love my girlfriend anymore and I can't stand the site of her, but I don't want to break up with her because I don't want someone else to bang her.

Pretty much nail on the head

other points are serious though. Every good team needs a willing and able scorer, a 7ft one is an absolute god send.

I like the part where he says that Bargs is one of the best big men in the league.

I'm gobsmacked. I can't respond to this without insulting people.

I would rather watch someone bang my ex-girlfriend than keep her fwiw.

He was clearly referring to his manhood.

I'd say he's (offensively) the 3rd best 7fter in the league. It's remains to be seen how Bynum will be when he comes back. That'd make him 4th.

If any of you ever wonder why BC kept him for so long, refer to point 5)

He has no value, and he is the best big in the league, and he's had unrealistic expectations foisted upon him.

I can't make that work with any kind of venn diagram.

3rd best? Really?

Hmmmm... let's make a list shall we?

- Duncan
- KG
- Bosh
- Boozer
- Al Jefferson
- Josh Smith
- Al Horford
- Brook Lopez
- Dirk (when healthy)
- David Lee

That's 10 right there who are better.... and I'm sure I could prob. list another 10 without too much of a problem.

Well, to be fair, he did say top 3 best offensive "7 footers" in the league. Andrea is a legit 7 feet.

- Duncan 6'11''
- KG 6'11''
- Bosh 6'11''
- Boozer 6'9''
- Al Jefferson 6'10''
- Josh Smith 6'9''
- Al Horford 6'10''
- Brook Lopez 7'0''
- Dirk 7'0''
- David Lee 6'9''

So, really, there are only two 7 foot bigs on that list.

take any team in the league and you will see that there is at least 1 Forward who is better than Bargnani. Bargnani is top 200 forward in this league
Who cares if he's a 7 footer when he plays like 6 footer
