we ain't getting out of round 1 no matter who we play

But I'd like to avoid Detroit anyways to avoid the embarrasment of getting swept/having a big collapse where it looked like we were challenging 3rd or 4th then just DIED

Definitely at the lowest we'll fall is 7th. Anything less at this point deserves a Mitchell firing.

Eventhough we lost last night, for the most part I liked what I saw. If we can play like we did on defense and work on a few other things on offense then I see no reason why we can remain anywhere between 5th to 7th. If we come crumbling down all of a sudden and just slip into the playoffs, then "buh-bye" Sam this summer.

Im witholding judgment until i see how they do in the next three games. there's been a pattern of either getting some good wins against quality opponents and then coughing one up to a shite one. Or losing when they should lose and then beating a cellar dwellar. this isnt how a playoff team functions, and until they start competing night in and night out...who am i kidding..this is a .500 ball club. they arent going anywhere this year.

Remember when last year everybody wanted Nets so Raps can kick Vince's ass...?

This year everybody wants Orlando and it just might happen but I am afraid outcome will be the same as last year...

my thoughts exactly! Orlando has a huge chip on their shoulders because they feel they are not getting respect, and they are right. I think in the playoffs they will turn it up a notch, Howard will be an unguardable beast and Van Gundy will have a much better game plan and scouting then us, which will = huge beatdown.

I think that it would be the same if we looked for playing against Cavs (to kick Lebron's ass).

No, everyone sane wanted to play the wiz so we'd get out of the first round.

We match up 10x better with ORL than we do CLE. The comparison from last year wanting NJ to this year wanting ORL over CLE is huge because we know we wont win more than a game vs CLE, whereas vs ORL we know we can take at least 2.

Personally i want to stay in 6th and play Orlando over Cleveland...they are a better team than Cleveland but we match up better as has been mentioned. Plus...to see Lebron get so cocky when he's holding his team up gets old fast. I might like it if he were on the Raps and we were winning but i can't stand it in games i watch, whether they're against the raps or someone else.

As easy as Cleveland got smoked last year in the finals, and as easy as their route was (getting to play Washington was a joke), they still have finals experience and got a bit better than last year. I'd easily rather play Orlando in the first round than Cleveland because vs. Orlando we stand a chance. Vs Cleveland we do not, unless LeBron breaks his leg in 5 places.
