Post Washington, Toronto and San Antonio

Did anyone notice that both Washington and Toronto have had disappointing starts? Both were highly anticipated as solidified squads with considerable bench depth this offseason but haven't consistently clicked thus far. The Spurs, the other big spenders this year, have a record of 8-6 and are sitting quite well considering the injuries in the backcourt. Looks like grabbing Jefferson paid off for these guys. I would be interesting if neither of them ended up in the playoffs, especially because I'd like to see what Colangelo could milk out for Bosh. But that's just me...

WAS struggled early because of all their injuries. They pretty much had Arenas and no one else. Now that Jamison's back that's helped them quite a bit but they're still a work in progress.

One team that definitely looks much better now is CHA.... they beat CLE tonight and the addition of Jackson seems to have been HUGE for them. Chandler being back helps them big time as well. THAT is a team that "gets it".
