Wade thought Bosh will sign with Miami in 2010

Default Wade thought Bosh will sign with Miami in 2010

Apparently, before hedu, there was some indication from cb's camp that Bosh would love to play in miami. Furthermore, Wade seems to think that even now, Miami could still appeal to Bosh.

Personally, I think that if Miami doesn't make a move, they will not make the playoffs next season, and that would make it a very unappealing destination, especially that most current stars would be completely under wade's shadow.

Quote:
Toronto's Chris Bosh remains Miami's top target in 2010, and Wade -- who shares the same agent -- said, ``I think we are on his radar. But they've made moves and showed him they want to build around him. I think that means a lot to him. But I also think Miami would be attractive to him.''

A second credible person, who spent time with Bosh this offseason before Toronto got an oral commitment from Hedo Turkoglu, reiterated that Bosh indicated he would love to play for Miami but would never say that publicly and has a year to determine his plans.

The concern for the Heat is if: 1) Turkoglu's addition influences Bosh to re-sign next year; or 2) Toronto deals him before February's trade deadline to another appealing city, such as Dallas (where he was born) or Atlanta (where he attended college). Remember, the team re-signing Bosh can pay him $30 million more than others. Toronto is not trading Bosh this summer.
Another interesting thing is that both wade and mourning think beasley will never be a good 3 because he's too slow, and that he needs to seriously bulk up if he is to play the 4:

Quote:
Though Michael Beasley is working to develop small forward skills, Wade believes it will be ''tough'' for Beasley to play a lot there: ``I don't want to question his ability, but he will have to work his tail off if he wants to do it. He can score at any position. But it's defense. You've got guys at the [small forward] position that are super quick. Beasley is slow-footed.''

Alonzo Mourning, soon to become the Heat's vice president/player development, said at small forward, defense hinges ``on technique, on speed. You've got to move your feet, get in position. Based on what we've seen of Michael last year, he doesn't have those capabilities. He might develop them [but] I think he's a power forward. He has to develop size and toughness to endure the physicality. I'm not saying he cannot [play small forward], but for longer spurts, it's going to be difficult to guard threes.''
and finally, wade was also very hot on turkoglu:
Quote:
Wade said he tried to recruit only one free agent -- Turkoglu -- this summer: ``I knew it would be hard to get him because . . . we don't have any money for him. That's one player I love.''
maybe we're going to get wade in 2010 you know, Calderon and derozan for wade sounds just as good as beasley and haslem for Bosh which is what miami fans were suggesting at some point.

They made the playoffs last year and very little has changed. Am I missing something? I must be...

Wade handles the press really well. Answering that question about Beasley was a toughy and he did it very well.

I'm glad that wade likes and wanted Hedo. Better get used to players you want being a raptor buddy

Does anyone know the record for Miami after the JO trade?

Wade played OUT OF HIS MIND and stole some games for them, I don't know if he can do that again. He'll be a force but I don't know if he can repeat what he did.

They were 5th but they didn't make it in by much. A couple of games will put them out of the playoffs and I expect we leap-frogged them this offseason.

They were .500 but it takes time to integrate a big man like Jermaine O'Neal into the lineup.

Wade
Turk
Bosh

thank you.

One max contract is enough (if that). Personally, i much prefer building a strong TEAM preferably without a max contract, much like Detroit had before they decided to piss it away.

that's a championship lineup. That's all you need right there. Bosh ain't no Gasol but I definitely think that team could do it.

I was thinking the same as Wade. It is still a possibility but half way through the next season he will want to come to Toronto I suppose .

I am a fan of Wade's play. If I were to pick #1 that year in the draft, I'd pick him before Lebron. As great as Wade is, they might not be able to make the playoffs this year.

Boston
Cleveland
Toronto
Orlando
Atlanta
Chicago
Washington
Last team?
