Nuggets W. Chandler to GSW for #7?

This could be a decent option. His contract is reasonable. Could we still be interested?

Lots of teams calling Denver to trade for Nuggets' young players. 1of several moves being discussed: Wil Chandler to G State for 7th pick

I think they were just protecting their asset. That being said, I'd hate to see us trade the #8 for WC.... he's just not good enough. I'd rather have a cheap wing prospect than him. If Gallo was offered, I'd reconsider that.

i'm guessing golden state is inquiring and looking for a SF. It does say teams are calling Denver. But he did get injured not long after signing.

Was it now? They locked up their asset and are now about to get a high pick for it? With Gallinari Chandler is dispensable, so whats the problem?
Why can't we solve our PF situation like this?

Because no one would give us a lottery pick for Ed..... but I agree, they were smart to protect him, and even smarter to shop him after doing so. A #7 pick for him is a huge steal for them.

What do you guys think McGee will get?

He's a restricted FA, but I think if he's on a solid team with a solid coach, he can develop nicely.

Mcgee will get 9 or 10 million. Jordan got 10 mil and Mcgee is ahead of him development and skill wise.

In terms of this trade, GSW becomes a treadmill team for the next 4 years if they do it. Chandler isnt a quality starting SF in the league. He's a very good 6th or 7th man who can start in spot situations. He's much better suited coming off the bench, and IMO is at his most effective as the 4 in smallball lineups as he showed in NY

This would be an awesome trade for DEN

Thriller, what does a team have to do to pry him away from DEN.

11/12 per year?

He'd be a great fit on the Mavs too.

Anything over 10 is overpaying because he's still an enigma. But if a good team like DEN or DAL gets him, he's obviously more likely to continue growing with the right players and coaching around him, so I think he'd eventually be worth the 10.

Honestly, since its DEN, I think the only offer that would pry him away is a max contract, which would be hilarious in itself. But then again, I'm not even sure that would do it since DEN gave Nene a max contract and Mcgee has the potential to be better than him in 2-3 years time. If Uriji and Karl really believe in him and have to match a 12-14 million a year deal, then they're really going to have to move Chandler and maybe one more contract in the upcoming year since Lawson expires after this season. They're in a tough spot where they cant overpay by too much. I bet they regret giving Chandler that deal right about now though.

you know makes this draft crazy is that all the good teams want it in the draft and all the bad teams want out, whats that all about?

lakers, houston trying to go higher, spurs, denver meanwhile the bobcats, the kings, and Raptors are all considering trading down or out of the draft entirely

doesnt this make anyone worry
