Default Vince Carter passes Larry Bird

Vince officially becomes 29th on all time scoring list.
Still looks like he could contribute well to an NBA roster

reason being is because the dude has stayed RELATIVELY (not completely obviously) healthy. Also, aside from his departure in Toronto, Carter is not known to be a headcase or have a big ego. Dude has accepted a bench role from years back.

Unlike his counterparts in T Mac, Steve Francis, Iverson, Arenas, etc. All dudes that had both injury and ego problems.

Dude made a mistake with the way he left Toronto. Whatever, he learned from it. Carter is a professional with a solid, steady and long career.

Wasn't that the philadelphia series? And I think it was one game. Iverson also went off for 50 in one of the games.

Easy to stay healthy when you play that soft and fall like you've been shot at the slightest pain.

I still dislike that guy.

lol still on this. pretty sure the guy has changed since being a pu**y with toronto. people grow and learn from past experiences. if u've been watching his career as of recent, vince just goes out and plays. he's not that same "soft" player that he was in the later toronto years.

although to be fair...he's not asked to be "tough" coming off the bench in dallas. just make plays and get buckets.

You really think playing through injured knees is funny?

It's easy to pass ridicuous comments when you know nothing abt the game of basketball.

Yep. VC scored 39 and 50 in that series. A.I. dropped 50 twice I believe.

Vince also had 47 vs. the Bucks after he got left off TEAM USA for Ray Allen.... and then 51 against PHX when we FINALLY got a nationally televised game on NBC.

If there is a Stats HOF, then put him in!!

The current HOF looks at so much more than numbers.

Thats why Petrovic is in, and VC will stay out.

I'll keep going back to Chris Mullin. Once they opened that door, how are they going to keep Vince out of the HOF?

Well done Vincent Lamar (AIR CANADA) Carter.
When he grew up, his play has been solid.

This thred tilts me. How can anyone say Vince Carter han been an all star AFTER he left. Did he play better when he left? He played for 6 teams for a reason. We might has loved him here but theres is no way the nets or anyone thinks ;ile we do. He played more than half his career away from here and none of it like a boss.
