Found it interesting TR r trying 2 get pure point back as part of package. Someone like Calderon who gets ball 2 people in position 2 score

@FortuNateShev Bledsoe appears unavailable. Surely T'Wolves would give up Williams & Ridnour. Can't have more than 1 or 2 Americans on Minny

Ridnour + Willams would be perfect. Is that realistic though? Luke would be the perfect pass first backup.

How is Bledsoe unavailable?

Yeah the D-Will and Ridnour deal seems great. I think it's POSSIBLE if we throw in a few ok pieces. I think Fields would be good.

If we got Williams too, holy hell would we be athletic. More than already, which is scary.

I like Ridnour as a back-up PG. He is good enough to give the Raps a chance to win if he has to start because Lowry gets hurt, but he's not good enough to start a distracting PG controversy. Having said that, I'm not sure Ridnour fits the bill of a "pure PG". He gets fewer assists than Lowry. So if this is true and Colangelo is insisting on finding a PG known for playmaking, then Ridnour might not be the guy.

In the short term, yes. I doubt the Raps could get him, though.

If u can get ridnour and Williams for Bargnani u do it. Ur filling two holes and replacing an unneeded player. Williams also has a hell of a lot of potential and we have great big man coaches. I don't think it can be done. Minny isn't that stupid

How about give him a chance on this current roster? Another matchup problem for opposition to work against.
I wouldn't sell him right now, value too low. If you need a PG get Ben Uzoh from D-League. "The Man That Cost Us Top 5 Lottery Pick" as BC calls him.
Or Machado, the perfect pass-first guy for a 3rd stringer

If we'd be dumb enough to do DW and Ridnour then we deserve to run on that treadmill. Keep AB this season, be patient and see what goes on.

This is crazy in a good way if we get Ridnour and Williams, my bro actually called it.. a few weeks back, he does not have any inside sources or anything, he just came up with that trade on his own, and felt it would make sense for both teams lool

Because Bargnanni would needs to play along side a strong rebounder in order for him to play the way he wants, and Minny doesn't really use Williams that good..

We'd be "dumb" to get a quality backup PG (who can easily start in a pinch) and an athletic big who was the #2 overall pick last season?

I know you feel that some people are being far too negative about Bargs but holy hell man... you're on the other end of the spectrum now. No one's giving us an all-star for him.

This would be a quality deal for our team, fill 2 needs AND give us yet another young guy on a rookie contract to work with who has loads of potential.

If you want to positive and take a "wait and see" approach funnel your energy into Williams. He's an intriguing talent.

You're probably right, advice heeded.

I used to like DW... but he's just not shown me what I thought we'd see by now. Maybe it's a decent take, but something about him just makes me think it's not a good way to go.

But again, you're probably right.

Yah, carp's assertion is particularly odd. I'm not sold DWill is going to be anything great, but Bargnani has proven to be an epically bad player and a failure with no upside left. DWill was #2 overall and Ridnour is a great backup. Why wouldn't we go for it?

My bad, I've just soured on D-Will's potential. I'm not sure he's anything more than a tweener and defensively he's slow-footed.... but I suppose Bargnani is too! lol

I love Ridnour, every time I see him play he puts in work and I swear he doesn't miss midrange shots. Add D-Will to the mix and were set but how can we possibly get this done.

Me too but at least he's young and on a rookie contract. If worst comes to worst we just won't resign him or trade him away.

williams potential is off the charts due to his physical measurements similar to gay. gay has put it together talent wise too. imagine if DW does that and we have him? oh man!
